The Accelerating Modernization of Education Implementation Plan(2018-2022)and China Educa-tion Reform 2035 specify the need to fully promote rural development,intensify education innovation,raise the standard of education,and create a highly professional and high-quality teaching force.The Country Teacher Support Plan Rules2015-2020 points out that there are issues such as imbalanced allocation of resources,lack of teaching ability and low overall quality of teachers in rural schools.The key to solve these problems lies in how to distinguish between the excellent and the ordinary performers in the teaching position.Competency can be measured by certain reliability indicators for physical education teachers,and the measurement results can be used as the evaluation criteria for physical education teachers’ competency,and the shortcomings of physical education teachers’ competency can also be found,In this way,we can make focused improvements to enhance the quality of teaching and learning.This survey was carried out to investigate the ability of physical education teachers in Linzhou City rural junior high schools.Using mainly research methods such as bibliographical data,surveys,questions,answers,numerical statistics and logic analysis,the survey statistics and analysis of the practical situation of physical education teachers’ level of ability in rural middle schools in Linzhou City were carried out,and the issues of PE teachers’ competencies were revealed.The results show that:1.The level of general competence of PE teachers in Linzhou rural lower middle schools is modest,and the structure of the level is unbalanced.In the context of Dimensions such as info collecting and study proficiency,instructional organization skills and character features,the score is high,all reached the level of "basically accord";In the dimension of systematic study renewal talent and occupational awareness,the score is lower than 4points,which does not reach the level of "basically comply with".2.The power of sylvan inferior Secondary Schools gym teachers in Linzhou city has the following problems: the ability of scientific research and innovation needs to be improved;Lack of professional knowledge reserve;Lack of physical education resources;Physical education teacher work pressure,pay is poor;Physical education discussion and observation exchange activities are less.3.The best way to raise the ability of PE teachers in Linzhou’s rural junior school is to strengthen support from the government for PE education in rural junior schools,raise funding for PE education in rural schools,and improve the working and living conditions of rural PE teachers.Raise salary levels,build a comprehensive in-service training system for rural PE teachers,construct a facility to raise the teaching capacity of PE teachers,raise the level of research and innovation of PE teachers,raise gym teachers’ vocational discipline and enhance their ego grow aesthesia. |
