Abstract/Summary:
Information literacy is the basic literacy of citizens in today’s information society and one of the essential literacy of teachers.Primary education is the foundation of the whole education system.To improve the quality of education,we must pay attention to primary education.Therefore,the state attaches great importance to the cultivation of primary school teachers’ information literacy.Normal university students are the key stage of the generation and development of teachers’ information literacy.Improving their information literacy level is crucial to the cultivation of primary school teachers’ information literacy.The assessment can accurately judge the information literacy of normal university students,which is an important means to understand the level of information literacy of normal university students majoring in primary education.Meanwhile,the assessment of information literacy of normal university students majoring in primary education also indicates the direction for the improvement of information literacy of normal university students majoring in primary education.Assessment plays a very important role in the cultivation of information literacy of primary education major normal university students,but there is still a lack of scientific and reasonable assessment tools.Therefore,the main aim of this study is to develop information literacy assessment tools for primary education major normal university students,which is verified and effective,so as to understand the current situation of information literacy of primary education major normal university students,and provide reference for assessment methods.The research mainly discusses the following contents:1.What is the reasonable evaluation index for the information literacy of primary education major normal university students;2.What kind of test questions can accurately assess the information literacy of primary education major normal university students?3.Use the Rasch model analysis software Winsteps to make a reasonable evaluation of the quality of the evaluation tools.This study collects and combs literature to understand the connotation and definition of information literacy at home and abroad,as well as the approved and verified information literacy assessment models at home and abroad,focusing on the content,methods and conclusions of mature information literacy assessment at home and abroad.Secondly,based on relevant theories and the Standard of Professional Competence of Teachers of normal university students of Primary Education Major(Trial),the evaluation index system of information literacy of normal university students of primary education major is constructed.A set of questions is developed based on the constructed evaluation index and the mature information literacy evaluation at home and abroad.Then the subject is modified according to Delphi method and used as a pretest tool;Select a university primary education major normal university students to conduct the pre-test,and the test data of the pre-test project theory and Rasch model analysis,to judge the effectiveness and reliability of the pre-test assessment tool;Based on project difficulty,project differentiation and Rasch model,some questions were revised and replaced to form a formal evaluation tool containing 36 projects.This paper uses this formal assessment tool to assess information literacy of primary education major students in a university in Changchun.The Rasch model is used to analyze the evaluation data and draw three conclusions: 1.The project difficulty of the evaluation tool is basically corresponding to the level of the subjects,and the reliability and validity are good,which can accurately measure the information literacy of primary education major normal university students;2.The evaluation tool is one-dimensional,and the test item examines the information literacy of the subjects;3.The fitting degree between the actual data and the theoretical response model of the topic in the evaluation tool is good,the overall quality of the response items is good,and the reliability of the test items is high.Finally,based on the analysis of information literacy assessment data of primary education major normal university students,it is found that the overall performance of information literacy of primary education major normal university students is positive.The information literacy test questions of primary education major normal school students are scored with 0 and 1,and the mean values of information knowledge,skills,thinking and attitude are all above 0.5,indicating that the information literacy of primary education major normal school students is at the medium level.Among them,the relatively low mean value is the information skills and attitudes of future teachers,which indicates that the information skills and attitudes of primary education major students to become future primary school teachers need to be further improved.The results of data analysis and Rasch model analysis show that this study has developed a tool that is in line with the assessment of information literacy of primary education majors,which can effectively diagnose the current situation and problems of information literacy of primary education majors’ normal university students,so as to effectively improve the information literacy of future primary school teachers.
