Teachers’ emotional labor refers to the process of controlling and managing teachers’ emotions so they can express their emotions in accordance with organizational requirements while working.This process not only affects the teachers’ personal lives but also the school and students to a certain extent.In order to effectively reduce the negative effects of emotional labor and improve teachers’ emotional labor,it is necessary to explore the key factors affecting emotional labor.Additionally,present research focuses primarily on all teachers as a group and examines their emotional labor conditions,but pays less attention to the various emotional labor conditions of different groups of teachers,particularly beginning teachers.Based on this,this study focuses on beginning primary school teachers,explores their emotional labor current situation and influencing factors,and then analyzes the role of each influencing factor.To distinguish the unique group of elementary school beginning teachers from other types of teachers’ emotion labor and to enhance the emotional labor of beginning teachers.Therefore,in this study,primary school teachers in C City were used to carry out a questionnaire survey,and the data were verified by semi-structured interview.Then,using SPSS23.0 and Yaahp10.0 statistical analysis software,it statistically analyzes the data using one-way ANOVA analysis,independent sample T test,and the method “Analytic Hierarchy Process” to reveal the current status,key influencing factors,and degree of role of emotional distress.The research revealed that:1.Beginning teachers in primary school overall emotional labor was at an upper-middle level,with minor variations in the levels of each dimension and no statistically significant variations in demographic factors.2.Beginning teachers in primary school for the most part accept that teacher-student relationship,colleague relationship,parent-teacher relationship,leadership support and knowledge experience are the key factors affecting their emotional labor.3.The above five influencing factors are in descending order: leadership support,colleague relationship,knowledge and experience,teacher-student relationship and parent-teacher relationship.Based on the above findings,the following suggestions are put forward on how to do a good job in the emotional labor of primary school first-time teachers: Create a harmonious interpersonal atmosphere in teacher aspect continue to learn professional knowledge and improve their professional quality;draw on senior teacher resources to gain teaching experience;improve effective communication skills and establish a benign teacher-student,parent-teacher relationship. |
