The construction of the rule of law is an important guarantee for the development of a country and an eternal theme,and the construction of the rule of law cannot be separated from the enhancement of the citizens’ concept of the rule of law in modern society.From September 2019,the new version of high school ideology and politics textbooks have been put into use nationwide,and the addition of legal content in the selective compulsory high school politics textbook "Law and Life" is a major highlight of the new textbook.Through rule of law education,students will realize that the rule of law is a powerful guarantee for the development of socialism with Chinese characteristics and enhance their awareness of the rule of law.With the continuous promotion of the new curriculum,new standards and new teaching materials,the learning style of secondary school students as well as the teaching style of teachers are undergoing fundamental changes.High school ideology and politics teachers should make effective use of contexts and transform the knowledge-teaching classroom into a contextual experience classroom.They should cultivate students’ awareness of rule of law,nurture rule of law thinking and generate rule of law actions in a variety of contextual experiences.This paper is divided into four parts to systematically explore and study the creation of teaching contexts based on the cultivation of rule of law awareness in the context of the current new curriculum reform.The first part is an introduction,which explores the theoretical significance as well as the practical significance of the teaching context creation based on the awareness of rule of law,mainly including the research background,research content and significance,the current situation of domestic and foreign research,research methods and innovations.In the second part,by reviewing the relevant literature,the theories related to the creation of teaching contexts based on the cultivation of rule of law awareness are analyzed to prepare the theoretical ground for the following logical development.In the third part,based on the research,this paper analyzes the existing problems and causes of the teaching situation creation based on the cultivation of legal awareness in senior high schools.The problems include: formalization of the situation setting,which is difficult to combine with the goal of legal literacy;Unitary scene type makes it difficult to mobilize students’ enthusiasm for participation.Situational problems are arbitrary,so it is difficult to deepen students’ cognition of rule of law and situational evaluation is one-sided,and it is difficult to cultivate the rule of law literacy.In the fourth part,aiming at the existing problems and reasons in the creation of teaching context based on the cultivation of legal consciousness of high school ideological and political class,combined with the requirements of the new curriculum standard,the conclusions of relevant literature and teaching practice,this paper puts forward corresponding optimization strategies.It includes improving teachers’ legal literacy and situational creation ability,the principles to be followed in situational creation based on legal consciousness,the implementation of teaching situational creation based on legal consciousness cultivation,and improving the evaluation system of teaching situational creation for cultivating students’ legal consciousness.
