In recent years,the country has issued a series of policy documents related to artificial intelligence education,which shows that artificial intelligence plays an important role in the information technology curriculum of basic education.Currently,high school artificial intelligence education is still in its infancy.Since textbooks are the core of curriculum implementation,this study chooses representative new curriculum standard textbooks published in recent years.It analyzes its teaching material design concept,compilation content and teaching strategy in artificial intelligence module.The aim is to provide some reference for the compilation of high school artificial intelligence textbooks.In this study,literature research method,content analysis method and comparative research method are adopted to systematically analyze the artificial intelligence(AI)module of the fifth edition of compulsory high school information technology textbooks and optional compulsory high school textbooks,and make a comparative analysis from three aspects: "textbook content","textbook organization structure and arrangement way" and "textbook presentation way".On the basis of theoretical analysis of textbook texts,this study combined with questionnaire survey and teacher interview,conducted an in-depth analysis of the actual use of artificial intelligence textbooks and the influence of artificial intelligence textbooks on curriculum development,so as to summarize the characteristics and deficiencies of different versions of high school artificial intelligence textbooks,and put forward suggestions on the compilation and use of textbooks.Through the research,it is found that: first of all,the content system of the five textbooks mainly focuses on the experience,exploration,tools and application of AI,among which the content of experience and application is generally attached importance,but there are some differences in the knowledge points and the application of AI tools.Secondly,most AI teaching materials focus on the characteristics of project-based learning in the way of writing,but there are big differences in the scene and difficulty of project design.Thirdly,the fifth edition textbooks have different levels of difficulty.Some textbooks are difficult in the content of some chapters and project activities,which is not conducive to students’ acceptance.Therefore,when choosing textbooks,we should consider the learning situation to restructure or adapt the textbooks.Finally,it is not easy to recommend AI technology platform suitable for high school students in the fifth edition textbooks,which puts forward an urgent demand for the independent development of high school inclusive AI teaching platform.In terms of curriculum implementation,there are not many high school schools that carry out AI courses.Project-based teaching and large-unit teaching need to be further promoted,and teachers’ ability to teach AI courses also needs to be improved.In the end,the paper puts forward some suggestions on the compilation of textbooks,the use of teaching,the construction of resources and the training of teachers.This study has the following innovations: First,there are few researches on artificial intelligence textbooks for high school at present,so this study makes an in-depth comparative study on different versions of compulsory textbooks and optional compulsory textbooks.Secondly,combining with the new curriculum concept,the author makes in-depth analysis and research on the textbooks from different aspects such as content structure,project-based learning and design strategy,and puts forward suggestions on the compilation and use of high school artificial intelligence textbooks. |
