Mobile phones bring convenience to people and also bring some disadvantages. For junior high school students who are in the critical stage of physical and mental development, their behavioral self-control is relatively weak, their behavioral selfcontrol is weak and they are easily over-indulged in mobile phones, while excessive use of mobile phones can lead to many problems such as vision decline, insomnia, decreased academic performance and bad mood.Psychological abuse and neglect is a global public health problem that has a profound impact on physical and mental health at all stages of the life course.Relevant studies have shown that psychological abuse and neglect can significantly predict individual’s mobile phone dependence. Therefore, this study takes the cognitive-behavioral model of PIU as the theoretical basis, and adds self-esteem and interpersonal alienation,to explore the influencing factors and mechanisms of mobile phone addiction in junior high school students, and then to reduce the level of mobile phone dependence and improve the physical and mental health level of students. This study uses a combination of questionnaire surveys and qualitative interviews. The first study used the "CPANS","SES","Interpersonal alienation subscale" and "MPAI" as survey tools and used random sampling methods to investigate and study 744 junior middle school students.SPSS 23.0 and PROCESS macro program were used to analyze the data.Study 2 uses the semi-structured interview method to further explore the specific mechanism of the relationship between psychological abuse and neglect,self-esteem,interpersonal alienation and smartphone addiction.Results:(1)There are no significant difference in psychological abuse and neglect,self-esteem,interpersonal alienation and smartphone addiction among junior high school students in terms of gender, grade, only child and left-behind children.(2)There are correlations between psychological abuse and neglect,self-esteem,interpersonal alienation and smartphone addiction among junior high school students.Such as: psychological abuse and neglect is negatively correlated with the self-esteem and positively correlated with the two variables of interpersonal alienation, and smartphone addiction;self-esteem is negatively correlated with interpersonal alienation and smartphone addiction;interpersonal alienation is positively correlated with smartphone addiction.(3)Self-esteem plays a part of mediating role between psychological abuse and neglect and smartphone addiction;Interpersonal alienation plays a part of mediating role between psychological abuse and neglect and smartphone addiction;Self-esteem and interpersonal alienation play a partial chain mediation role between psychological abuse and neglect and smartphone addiction.(4)The semi-structured interview result validated the quantitative research results. Conclusion: Psychological abuse and neglect not only directly predicted smartphone addiction, but also indirectly predicted smartphone addiction through the single mediating effect of interpersonal alienation and the chain mediating effect of self-esteem—interpersonal alienation. |
