In the context of the continuous deepening of the new curriculum reform,the "double reduction" policy has also put forward new requirements for classroom teaching.History teaching not only requires teachers to guide students to correctly understand and learn history,but also increasingly emphasizes the improvement of students’ comprehensive historical quality and historical thinking ability.Conducting "small incision big history" teaching in junior high school history classrooms can stimulate students’ interest in learning,help them understand history from a micro perspective,and better grasp the content of history.This article attempts to explore the applicability and teaching effectiveness of "small incision big history" teaching in junior high school history classrooms.Firstly,by introducing the content of "small incision big history" teaching,this article discusses how to carry out "small incision big history" teaching and its application principles in junior high school history classrooms.Secondly,analyze the problems in the teaching of "small incision big history" and provide appropriate suggestions,in order to better apply the teaching of "small incision big history" to junior high school history classrooms.Once again,taking the lesson "Cities and Culture during the Song and Yuan Dynasties" as an example,design lesson examples related to junior high school history teaching,and reflect on the design to understand the practicality and applicability of "small incision big history" teaching in junior high school history classrooms.Finally,analyze the history test questions of the 2022 Hainan High School Entrance Examination and explore the reflection of "small incision big history" in multiple-choice and material questions.Although there are shortcomings in the teaching of "small incision and large history",we also hope to provide some new ideas and reflections for the teaching of middle school history.
