Study On The Content System Of Traditional Craft Labor Curriculum At The Compulsory Education Level

In compulsory education,the implementation of labour education for students is both a demand of the times and a need for comprehensive human development.At present,labour education in schools has achieved certain results.However,there is still a lack of specialisation in labour education in schools,which in turn leads to poor results in the implementation of labour education in various regions and schools.Labour education must be adapted to the differences in the natural and socio-human environment of different regions.The curriculum is an integral part of the implementation of labor education.The labor curriculum at the compulsory education level should also have local characteristics,and the selection of curriculum content should be tailored to local,school and individual needs.Traditional crafts are an integral part of the excellent Chinese traditional culture,which is not only close to people’s daily life and production reality,but also rich in resources,making it an important labor curriculum resource.As a task group of the labor curriculum,traditional craft making has more regional characteristics compared to agricultural production work and industrial production work.Integrating traditional crafts reflecting local culture into school labor curriculum and developing traditional craft labor curriculum can help promote the characteristic development of school labor education.However,due to several factors,there is basically no separate traditional craft labor curriculum formally offered in compulsory schools.In this context,it is relevant to explore the development of traditional craft labor curriculum for the realization of labor education.The curriculum components are the core part of the inner structure of the curriculum and reflect the inner shape of the curriculum.Thus,it is essential to discuss the designs of the content system of the traditional craft labor curriculum at the compulsory education level from the aspect of the contents system of the curriculum for the construction of the traditional craft labor curriculum.From the basic situation of the current content system of traditional craft labour courses in schools,there are problems of unclear value orientation,lack of systematization and single constituent elements in the curriculum content system.The main reason for this is that schools do not know enough about labour education and the labour curriculum,lack a reasonable design for the content of the curriculum,and do not exploit the labour curriculum resources sufficiently.In order to fully utilize the functionality of labor education,the course content system of traditional craft labor courses should be an organic and unified whole that includes "education for love of labor" and "education to work".In the design of the curriculum content system,firstly,the objectives of the traditional craft labor curriculum should be clearly defined,and it is suggested that the curriculum objectives of each school section should be clarified in two dimensions: "love labor" and "know labor".Secondly,traditional craft production projects should be selected in a reasonable manner,taking full account of the actual situation and needs of each district,school and student development Third,the curriculum is organized according to the labor literacy standards of each school level and the physical and mental features of students’ development,forming a complete curriculum content system with vertical interconnection of each school level and horizontal interconnection with other sections of content and disciplines.Finally,the elements of the traditional craft labour course content system and the relationship between them are clarified.
