many challenges,at the same time they also will meet many opportunities.Business transformation is a way out for education and training companies,which gives them the opportunity and hope to survive and develop.Business transformation needs to combine industry characteristics and market demand,and find the correct positioning and development direction.Business transformation needs to optimize teaching resources and services to enhance the competitiveness and brand influence of enterprises.Business transformation needs to grasp the policy orientation,follow the development trend of national policies,and integrate with national strategies.Most of the existing results on corporate transformation in the academic field directly study how to implement business transformation from a process perspective,and very few have integrated the "why" and "how" into a systematic study,so there is no complete set of research that can explain and analyze the "why" and "how" of business transformation.In view of the shortage of existing research in this field,as well as the grim reality that the business transformation of the education and training industry is imperative under the epidemic situation and the "double reduction" policy,this study intends to take S,a representative small and medium-sized company in the k12 education industry,as an example,to investigate the business transformation dilemma and optimize the transformation strategy of the education and training company.Specifically,the purpose of this study is to investigate the urgency and feasibility of its transformation;Investigate the direction of its business transformation;Investigate the influencing factors of its business effect;Find out the strategies and related guarantees to optimize the transformation effect of its business.This study intends to take S,a representative small and medium-sized company in the k12 education industry,as an example,firstly,through the analysis of archival data,in-depth interviews,and exploring the current situation of S’s business situation,and then investigate the factors influencing S’s business transformation through questionnaires,and finally,on the basis of theoretical analysis and empirical research,propose S’s business transformation development strategies and related safeguards,to provide reference for the successful transformation and healthy development of this industry.The main conclusions are as follows :(1)the urgency of business transformation of S company: the "double reduction" policy and the epidemic are the main reasons for the business transformation of S company;The new fields of its business transformation is non-discipline education and training and agent sales of AI intelligent hardware products.(2)The influencing factors of S company’s business transformation effect include: difficulties in recruiting employees and high turnover rate;The development technology of AI programming course is insufficient,and the level of emerging educational technology is backward;High transition cost and difficult capital turnover;The new business track is highly competitive and the market is difficult to develop;Lack of brand effect and poor marketing effect.etc.(3)The promotion strategies of S company’s business transformation effect include: optimizing and upgrading transformed businesses and products,optimizing business execution plans and adjusting and upgrading business operations,building a team of teachers and marketing talents,optimizing talent structure,integrating its existing
