The new curriculum standard proposes the cultivation of core competencies in the history subject for junior high school students,and also awakens a higher awareness of teaching language proficiency among history teachers.In history classroom teaching,the teacher’s teaching language runs through the entire class.Teachers’ classroom teaching language is the professional language used by teachers in the classroom,taking classroom teaching language as the carrier,based on the history discipline,to carry out historical data demonstration and historical explanation to students,shape the historical materialism and space-time concept,and convey the feelings of family and country.It is the main carrier and tool of teaching information exchanges,and an important guarantee to complete teaching tasks.The use of teaching language by teachers in the classroom is a practical activity in which teachers use teaching language professionally,creatively,flexibly,and normatively for history classroom teaching.The language proficiency of teachers directly affects the improvement of classroom teaching efficiency and the degree of completion of teaching objectives.This article mainly studies the use of classroom teaching language by junior high school history teachers.It proposes that history teachers should use oral,physical,and written teaching languages to present a scientific,educational,vivid,inspiring,emotional,contemporary,and spatiotemporal history classroom.This article uses educational observation,case analysis,and literature research methods to study the types of classroom teaching language used by history teachers by observing teaching cases of famous middle school history teachers.Starting from the teaching content,it proposes the basic and special characteristics of history classroom teaching language,and discovers the problems in the current classroom teaching language of middle school history teachers,and analyzes the reasons for the problems,This proposes strategies for the use of classroom teaching language by history teachers.Based on the basic requirements,characteristics,and application strategies of history teaching language,this paper takes the middle school history textbook "Ancient India" as an example to design a history teaching language.Effective teaching suggestions have been proposed for the classroom teaching language of junior high school history teachers.This study aims to provide theoretical and practical guidance for improving the teaching language proficiency of middle school history teachers.
