The "Whole Book Reading and Seminar" learning task group has attracted much attention since the promulgation of the General High School Language Curriculum Standards(2017 edition revised in 2020),and its importance as the first of the 18 task groups is self-evident.With the deepening of related research,not only the research on the teaching and learning of whole book reading has been paid more and more attention,but also the research on the evaluation of whole book reading has become a hot topic in the academic field.Under the influence of this background,some regional college entrance examination language papers have begun to include whole book reading in the scope of the test,using the college entrance examination language papers as a carrier to test whole book reading has very important practical significance,which can realize the assessment of students’ whole book reading ability.As a key ability of language subjects,reading ability has always been in an important position in the formation of students’ core literacy in language subjects.Focusing on the examination of students’ whole book reading ability in the test can not only help cultivate students’ comprehensive reading ability,but also effectively improve students’ core literacy in language subjects.Based on this,this paper takes the whole-book reading test of the last five years of the college entrance examination as the object of study,analyzes it from the perspective of reading ability level,and takes the academic quality standard in the language curriculum standard as the main basis of analysis.Through the literature research method,case study method and comparative research method,the sample data of the whole book reading test questions in the college entrance examination in the past five years are analyzed in detail from the proficiency test material dimension,proficiency test form dimension and proficiency test content dimension on the basis of overall thinking.In the process of in-depth analysis,it is found that there are still some problems with the current reading ability level-oriented whole book reading test questions in the college entrance examination.In addition,most of the test questions are based on the textual material of literature.In addition,most of the test questions are presented in a fragmented form,not based on the "whole" test.In terms of the form of the ability test,in the past five years,some of the regional language exams have been fixed,single and rigid in the setting of question types,mainly multiple-choice and short-answer questions,and only the Beijing paper has set micro-writing questions,with relatively few open-ended questions.In terms of the content dimension of the ability test,the whole-book reading questions in the last five years are obviously not strong enough to test higher-order reading ability,lacking the test of higher-order reading ability,and the test of whole-book reading ability is not consistent with the reading ability level specified in the academic quality standard,and there are disadvantages of unbalanced ratio of reading ability level test and ambiguous target orientation of ability test.In order to change the current situation of the problems of the whole book reading test questions in the current reading ability level,the future whole book reading test questions in the language of the college entrance examination in the ability test material dimension,we should do diversified selection of materials,in order to achieve a comprehensive test of ability;focus on the optimization of integration,in order to explore the overall test of ability.In the form of proficiency testing,the questions should be open and innovative,so as to achieve in-depth proficiency testing.In the content dimension of the ability test,we should base on the curriculum standard,and meet the requirements of the test;reasonably allocate the weight,and pursue the higher-order test;develop the assessment framework,and clarify the assessment points.On this basis,the optimization of the whole-book reading test questions of the college entrance examination is realized under the guidance of reading ability level.
