As our country economy develops prosperously a rapidly,information science and technology is enhanced fast accordingly.Thanks to Internet information technology and Internet platform,instant music videos have become a teaching resource that can be fully used in China’s education and teaching.Due to the wide application of instant music videos in education and teaching,the efficiency of teachers’ teaching and students’ learning has been enhanced.Moreover,as instant music video technology develops,biology teachers in senior high schools have gradually begun to apply instant music videos to biology classroom teaching.However,there are still some problems in the process of applying instant music videos to biology teaching in senior high schools.Therefore,how to apply instant music videos to biology teaching reasonably and efficiently,so as to enhance teaching and learning efficiency,has become a topic worth studying.This study takes Cangzhou No.1 Middle School of Hebei Province as an example to study the application of short video in high school biology teaching.This study starts with the research background and significance,the collation and analysis of the current situation of short video applied to teaching research at home and abroad,and expounds the concepts of short video and fragmented learning used in this paper.The application of constructivism theory and other basic theories in this paper is explained.Secondly,the application status of short video in the biology teaching of Cangzhou No.1 Middle School is investigated and analyzed by means of questionnaire survey,and the existing problems in the application of short video biology teaching are put forward.Then the experiment is conducted to test the application effect of short video teaching,and the experimental results are summarized and analyzed by the method of comparative analysis.Finally,the paper puts forward some suggestions on the problems existing in the application of short video in biology teaching in high school.The main research conclusions are as follows:At present,the existing problems in short video biology teaching include insufficient available short video resources,insufficient fit of the video supporting the textbook,complicated Internet resources and easy to be affected by copyright issues;The ability of teachers to use short video should be improved.Short video teaching is rarely used except for new teaching;limited application of short video technology,lack of professional and easy to use processing software;Short video application enthusiasm is not high.To solve the problems existing in the application of short video in high school biology,the following measures can be adopted: make full use of available video resources;Improve the capability of short video applications;Use short video processing and processing tools;Increase the enthusiasm of short video application.The use of short video assisted biology classroom teaching has significantly improved students’ learning effect.Short video assisted biology classroom teaching is helpful to improve students’ understanding and memory of biological knowledge,and also has certain effects on improving students’ learning ability and exam scores.
