The development of The Times promotes educational innovation,China's Education Modernization 2035 proposes to speed up the educational reform in the information age and establish a mechanism for the co-construction and sharing of digital educational resources.The educational function of short video has been paid more and more attention[1].many experts and scholars.The development of physics is closely related to the times,so physics teaching should keep up with the development of the times.Compulsory education and ordinary high school curriculum standards promote the diversification of teaching methods and encourage the rational use of information technology in physics teaching[2][3].the role of short video in physics teaching in middle school needs to be developed.It is a problem worth discussing to excavate the educational function of short video and make it better serve physics education in middle school.This paper studies the application of short video in physics teaching in middle school and tries to solve the following problems:(1)Why short video is applied to physics teaching in middle school.(2)How to choose the short video suitable for middle school physics teaching and how to make the short video suitable for middle school physics teaching when the existing short video can not meet the teaching needs.(3)How to apply short video to physics teaching in middle school.This research method adopts literature research method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,case analysis method.Through the literature research method to understand the current application of short video in the field of teaching,especially in the field of physics teaching in middle schools,to explore the research room of combining short video with physics education in middle schools,so as to determine the direction of this study.Based on information processing learning theory,constructivist learning theory and life education theory,this study uses questionnaire survey and interview method to investigate the application status and feasibility of short video in physics teaching in middle school from student level and teacher level.Finally,the following research results were obtained:(1)Explain the reasons for applying short video to middle school physics teaching:Short video is feasible in physics teaching in middle school.Short video can visualize invisible experiments;short video can help schools with insufficient experimental conditions;short video can combine middle school physics teaching with students'interest to highlight students'main position;Different from other sources,short video can increase students'perceptual understanding and help physics problem situational.(2)On the basis of the case analysis,the paper deals with the selection and production of short video:It is suggested that the selection of short video should adhere to the principles of teaching goal,teaching content,students'physical and mental development,keeping pace with the times,combining science with interest and so on.Explains how to choose short video,and analyze the overweight and weight examples from student analysis,textbook analysis,teaching objectives,teaching key and difficult points,teaching methods,content and structure design,and make short video,providing the idea of short video creation.(3)Discuss the application of short video to middle school physics teaching:(1)expounds the application strategy of different types of short videos in middle school physics teaching:using life phenomenon of short videos to increase students'perceptual understanding,using physics experiment short videos to broaden the vision of teachers and students,use entertainment funny short videos to enhance students'interest in learning,using knowledge points summary short videos to help students know new.(2)combined with the specific teaching segment design examples,and discusses the application strategy of short video in different teaching links:using short videos to create situations to smoothly import new classes,break through the important and difficult points for classroom teaching,uses short videos to help students summarize and summarize,and arrange homework with short videos to promote the use of understanding and knowledge.(3)In view of the possible problems of applying short video in middle school physics teaching,it is suggested that teachers use short videos in middle school physics teaching:grasp the duration of short videos,mainly traditional experiments,experimental short videos,observe students'reactions to make timely adjustments,improve safety vigilance,reduce irrelevant information interference,strengthen students'mobile phone management,etc.
