Research On The Status Quo And Cultivation Countermeasures Of College Students’ Consciousness Of Chinese Nation Community

Since 2014,General Secretary Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized the significance of Consciousness of Chinese Nation Community,triggering a wave of in-depth thinking across the country and in-depth discussions in academia.At present,China has leaped to a new level in all aspects,including politics,economy,education,science and technology,but still faces great challenges in ideology and culture.In the course of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,opportunities and challenges coexist.The Consciousness of Chinese Nation Community is increasingly showing its important position as the foundation of national unity,the basis of national solidarity and the soul of spiritual strength in a multi-ethnic unified country.When the youth is strong,the nation is strong.Casting a firm sense of Chinese national community is not only an important matter at the national level,but also the mission and responsibility of every university student.How to make college students maintain political stability and ideal belief in the face of various risks and challenges is an urgent issue to be considered in the education process.Therefore,the research on cultivating the Consciousness of Chinese Nation Community among college students shows its necessity and urgency.In scientific research,solid theory is the premise,correct investigation is the foundation,guiding practice is the purpose.This study follows the logic of "what-how-what to do".Firstly,explain the basic theory of this research.This part answers the question "What is it?" and provides theoretical support.It clarifies the Consciousness of Chinese Nation Community and its extension around the logical basis.Based on the core issues of the Consciousness of Chinese Nation Community,an exploration of the cultivation value of the Consciousness of Chinese Nation Community in college students,namely to strengthen the "five identities" of college students;Combined with the four elements of ideological and political education and the psychological development process of "knowledge-emotion-intention-action",the elements and general process of cultivating the consciousness of Chinese community among college students are sorted out.And from the opportunities and challenges to grasp the awareness of cultivating times.Secondly,the present situation is analyzed by the concept of "anatomy sparrow".With the support of the theory,the western region with its unique geographical location and special history and culture is taken as an example to analyze the overall and inter-group differences and influencing factors to answer the "how",which is one of the difficulties in this study.Through the analysis of Excel and SPSS,it is found that the overall consciousness of college students in western China is in good condition,but there are still some problems.Differences in gender,nationality and educational background will lead to differences in the level of consciousness among groups.Social environmental factors such as social change and economic development level,campus environmental factors such as curriculum setting,teachers’ teaching methods,campus cultural atmosphere,and personal growth factors such as college students’ own ideas and family residence will affect their consciousness level to some extent.Finally,under the guidance of the dialectical relation principle of "commonness resides in individuality",the countermeasures are analyzed to answer the question of "what to do".In view of the particularity of the current situation of the western region and the commonness of the cultivation of college students’ Consciousness of Chinese Nation Community,this study starts from the concrete,pays attention to the general,and puts forward the cultivation countermeasures from principle,content,method and guarantee mechanism.We should follow the principles such as the combination of theoretical learning and practical experience and the combination of universality and particularity,deepen contents such as the Marxist view of the nation and the Party’s and state’s ethnic policies,choose methods such as theoretical education and practical experience,and improve the countermeasures for fostering mechanisms such as national institutional guarantee and social education guarantee.This is another difficulty in this study,and also the key point.This study is of great practical significance for enriching the Marxist ethnic theory and the ethnic unity education theory in colleges and universities,improving the pertinence of ideological and political education in colleges and universities,enhancing the four self-confidence of college students,promoting the development of the western region and maintaining national unity and stability.
