Research On The Cultivation Of The Sense Of Community Of Chinese Nation Among College Students In Yunnan Province

Forging a strong sense of the community of the Chinese nation not only provides an ideological foundation for the modernization of national governance,but also provides brand new resources for ideological and political education.The frontier is the main feature of Yunnan Province.There are 16 ethnic minorities in the border area of the province.The border is thousands of kilometers long.It is connected with Vietnam,Laos and Myanmar.There are a total of 81 colleges and universities in the province,of which 52 are located in the capital of Kunming,and 29 are located in various prefectures;12 of which are located in border cities.From the perspective of student source structure,minority students account for a certain proportion of the total number of colleges and universities.The campus culture atmosphere is relatively free and relaxed,especially compared with other colleges and universities,the frontier colleges and universities have a special situation,coupled with the profound changes in the international structure,the collision of multicultural thoughts,the changes in the social environment and family structure and other factors.The superimposed influence can easily lead to a weak sense of the Chinese nation community among some college students in Yunnan.Yunnan college students,as the main force and new force in the development of Yunnan’s ethnic unity and progress in the new era,bear the important social responsibility of the development of Yunnan’s ethnic unity and progress in the new era.The cultivation of the consciousness of the Chinese nation’s community is an important part of the ideological and political education in colleges and universities,and it is also an important task of the ethnic unity work in Yunnan in the new era and the sacred mission of the cultivation of the consciousness of the Chinese nation’s community.Looking back at history,college students in Yunnan have a fine tradition of patriotism and democracy.During the revolutionary war years,they fought unswervingly for national unity and national unity.During the peace building period,they devoted themselves to the cause of national unity and progress in the socialist border areas.In the new era,the cultivation of the Chinese ethnic community consciousness of college students in Yunnan is facing new challenges,such as diverse social concepts,school governance reforms,changes in family structure,and lack of initiative.The reasons for these problems are mainly analyzed and excavated from the perspectives of society,schools,families,and students themselves.How to better cultivate students in Yunnan’s colleges and universities in a purposeful,planned and organized manner requires a clear follow-up to the basics.Principles and feasible countermeasures have urged Yunnan college students to strengthen the "three inseparables" and "five identities",so as to better forge the consciousness of the Chinese nation’s community.
