| Weightlifting is one of the earliest events entering the Olympic Games and is also one of the traditional advantages of Chinese sports.Male and female weightlifters have achieved excellent results in various international competitions,which are inseparable from scientific selection and training.Among them,the control of pre-competition training plays a key role in the athletes’ competitive level.Therefore,it is of important practical guiding significance to study the pre-competition training of high-level athletes preparing for the Olympic Games.Purpose: Liao Qiuyun broke the snatch world record in the 2021 Asian Championships(and the qualification for the Tokyo Olympic Games)and won the silver medal of women’s 55 kg in the Tokyo Olympic Games three months later.This paper summarizes the characteristics of pre-competition training of female weightlifters,the adjustment of mentality of athletes and the adaptation of competition environment in the course of competition,and provides practical references for the training and participation of Chinese high-level female weightlifters.At the same time,it provides direction for the cultivation of reserve talents of Chinese female weightlifters.Methods:This paper takes Liao Qiuyun’s pre-competition training and participation process in preparation for the 2021 Tokyo Olympic Games as the research object,and adopts literature data method,expert interview method and logical analysis method to study.Results: 1.Liao Qiuyun was in good physical condition during pre-competition training,and there was no new serious sports injury;2.Taking the competition date as the node,Liao Qiuyun’s pre-competition training is divided into four phases: pre-competition preparation period,pre-competition improvement period,pre-competition reduction period and competition period;3.The goal of pre-competition training is to improve Liao Qiuyun’s absolute strength in snatch and clean and jerk,adjust Liao Qiuyun’s competitive condition,and strive to complete the goal of participating in the TokyoOlympic Games;4.Liao Qiuyun’s pre-competition training was mainly based on special snatch and clean and jerk technical training,supplemented by auxiliary exercises such as upper jerk,wide pull up,wide hard pull and half support clean and jerk,and aerobic training and functional training as supplementary means of training recovery and injury prevention and treatment;5.Liao Qiuyun’s pre-competition training mainly uses circuit training,interval training,compound strength training and other training methods,and uses massage,relaxation and cold bath as recovery means;6.The load of Liao Qiuyun’s pre-competition training presented a wavy change,from a large amount of medium intensity to a large amount of high intensity and finally to a small amount of high intensity.The training amount in the pre-competition taper period is reduced by 30%,and the training intensity is maintained at 90-100%.Conclusions: 1.Liao Qiuyun’s pre-competition training arrangement for the Tokyo Olympic Games was reasonable,and the athletes’ competitive ability was improved and their competitive state was well adjusted;2.According to the needs of preparation for the Tokyo Olympic Games,Liao Qiuyun’s pre-competition training is divided into four sub-cycles: pre-competition preparation period,pre-competition improvement period,pre-competition reduction period and competition period;3.The goal,method,means and content of Liao Qiuyun’s pre-competition training meet the competition needs,focusing on improving athletes’ competitive ability and adjusting their competitive state;The content is mainly specialized techniques,supplemented by auxiliary exercises,interspersed with aerobic capacity and personalized functional training to improve the overall ability of athletes;Although the methods and means are relatively simple,the training effect is good.4.The training load of Liao Qiuyun’s pre-competition training changes in waves.The total training load in the pre-competition preparation period is relatively low,the total training load in the pre-competition improvement period is high,and the total training load in the pre-competition reduction period is lower than that in the pre-competition improvement period.The function of athletes can adapt well to the change of training load,and the athletic ability and state are at a higher level in the competition period.5.The physiological and biochemical indexes of Liao Qiuyun’s precompetition training and the expectation of the recovery load training arrangement are generally in the normal range,and the body responds well to the stimulation imposed bythe training and the recovery state is good. |
