With the development of the times,the class meetings of primary schools began to appear in the form of courses,which played a positive role in solving the problems of formalization,arbitrariness and neglect of students ’ subjectivity.As one of the types of class meeting courses,the self-cultivation class meeting course absorbs the essence of Chinese excellent traditional self-cultivation thought and creatively integrates Chinese excellent traditional culture into the class meeting course,which plays an important role in improving the effectiveness of school moral education and implementing moral education.This study takes the self-cultivation class meeting course of S primary school in Chengdu as a case study object.Firstly,on the basis of reading a lot of literature on selfcultivation thought and primary school class meeting course,and interpreting the theory of self-cultivation class meeting course,this paper uses text analysis method,classroom observation method and interview method to investigate the current situation of self-cultivation class meeting course practice in S primary school,summarizes its achievements and problems,and puts forward suggestions for improving the practice of self-cultivation class meeting course in primary school,in order to provide some reference for the practice of self-cultivation class meeting course or class meeting course in other schools in the future.This study is mainly discussed from the following parts : The first part is the introduction,including the question,the purpose and significance of the study,literature review and core concept definition,as well as research ideas and methods.The second part is the theoretical explanation of the class meeting course,mainly from the connotation,characteristics,educational value and theoretical basis of the class meeting course.The third part is the investigation of the current situation of the curriculum practice of the selfcultivation class meeting in S primary school.After summarizing the basic situation of S primary school,the current situation of the self-cultivation class meeting curriculum in S primary school is investigated from the aspects of curriculum concept,curriculum goal,curriculum content,curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation.The fourth part summarizes the achievements and problems of the curriculum practice of S primary school.The achievements of S primary school in the curriculum practice of S primary school include that the curriculum concept pays attention to the students ’ subject,the curriculum content links the students ’ life,the teaching methods are diverse,and the teaching and research topics drive the development of the curriculum of S primary school.However,there are also many problems exposed in this process,mainly in the following four aspects : First,the goal orientation of the class meeting is not clear;second,the content of the self-cultivation class meeting course is not rich enough;third,there are loopholes in the implementation of the curriculum of the class meeting;fourth,the curriculum evaluation system of the class meeting is not perfect.The fifth part is based on the above problems put forward five suggestions for improvement,in order to solve the problems in the practice of primary school self-cultivation class meeting curriculum : first,reposition the self-cultivation class meeting curriculum objectives;second,enrich the content of the course;third,improve the implementation process of self-cultivation class meeting courses;fourth,improve the self-cultivation class meeting curriculum evaluation mechanism;fifth,construct a guarantee system for the implementation of self-cultivation class meeting courses.These suggestions provide ideas for solving the problems in the practice of the primary school self-cultivation class meeting curriculum and improving the effectiveness of the moral education of the primary school self-cultivation class meeting curriculum.They can also provide reference for other primary school related moral education courses or self-cultivation class meeting curriculum practice.At the same time,it also injects new content into the development of the primary school class meeting curriculum.
