Research is research learning,study trip combines research learning with tourism experience,and takes "teaching and doing unity" as a means and mode to cultivate students’ excellent ideological character and sound personality.The study tour inherits and carries forward the traditional educational concept and humanistic spirit of "reading ten thousand books and traveling thousands of miles" in China’s study tour,and is a new content and way of quality education.Chengdu is the capital city of Sichuan Province and the source of the culture of the three countries,with a rich history and culture,rich and diverse natural and cultural resources,and suitable for study trips.Therefore,this paper relies on the tourism resources of Chengdu to carry out the design and research of local characteristic study trips for primary schools.Although the documents to promote the development of study tours have long been released,due to various factors,study trips have not been implemented for a long time in primary schools,and the research on study trips at the primary school level is relatively small,and the research on primary school study trips combined with local characteristics has received relatively little attention,but the requirements of the Ministry of Education for the curriculum system of primary school study trips are mainly based on local and rural conditions.Therefore,it is relatively important to combine research trips at the primary school level with local characteristics.This study discusses how to integrate local characteristics into the design of primary school study trips from the theoretical and practical levels,and discusses the theory and practice from the four elements of activity design,namely activity objectives,activity content,activity implementation,and activity evaluation.At the theoretical level,with the help of literature research method,the current research status of study travel at home and abroad is sorted out,and the theoretical basis of the research is discussed in detail.With the help of the case analysis method,through the analysis of national excellent cases,the basis and requirements for the formulation of the four elements of activity design were summarized.At the practical level,this study selected the Wuhouci Museum and Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project as local representative study destinations in Chengdu,visited the two research destinations with the help of field research method,designed specific plans for primary school study trips combined with local characteristics,and conducted a sampling survey to investigate and study the development and design of primary school study trips in Chengdu.The main research conclusions are as follows: at the theoretical level,the positioning of the goals of local characteristics study trips in primary schools should be based on core literacy,strengthen the integration of disciplines,adapt to students’ physical and mental development,and integrate regional characteristics;The selection of activity content is based on the curriculum standards of integrated practical activities and local local resources;The development of primary school study trips is conducive to enhancing students’ feelings of home and country,innovating the form of education and teaching,improving students’ comprehensive ability,and cultivating students’ core literacy.At the practical level,a qualitative text analysis was carried out on a random sample of 12 schools in Chengdu,and the popularity rate of study tours in primary schools in Chengdu was high,and there were still outstanding problems in the design of study tour activities,such as lack of pre-learning,weak summary and evaluation links,and the integration with local characteristics that needed to be deepened.The proposed countermeasures include: deep integration of local characteristic resources;Enhance the learning of pre-emptive content;Pay attention to the summary and evaluation link;strengthening multidisciplinary linkages;Respect the subjectivity of students;Ensure the personal safety of teachers and students.
