The 2017 Edition of Information Technology Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High School points out that the information technology curriculum aims to comprehensively improve the core literacy of students and pay attention to the cultivation of students’ innovative spirit and cooperative exploration and other abilities. The new information technology textbooks corresponding to the requirements of the new curriculum standards have also been put into use,but because the learning content of the information technology discipline is relatively abstract,Conventional classrooms are dominated by teacher-led lecturing and emphasize the learning of knowledge points, which is not conducive to the construction of a systematic knowledge structure for students.Students are easy to lose interest in learning because of the difficulty in mastering knowledge and the neglect of subjectivity, and the ability of cooperative exploration cannot be developed, and it is difficult to cultivate the core quality of subjects.Project-based learning is a learning activity in which students solve problems and form project results through cooperative inquiry learning with the help of diversified learning materials in real situations.Unit teaching integrates knowledge according to the internal connection of knowledge points, pays attention to the construction of knowledge logic system, and helps learners to construct a complete knowledge structure. The integration of project-based learning and unit teaching is conducive to cultivating students’ ability of teamwork and inquiry, stimulating students’ interest in learning, helping students to construct systematic knowledge structure, and developing students’ core qualities. There are few researches on the combination of project-based learning and unit teaching in the subject of information technology. In this thesis, the teaching design and application of IT unit teaching in high school based on project-based learning are carried out, which can enrich the theoretical research of unit teaching based on project-based learning and have a profound impact on the cultivation of students’ comprehensive ability and the improvement of teachers’ professional quality.By combing related literature of project-based learning and unit teaching, this study discusses the feasibility of integrating them and applying them to the teaching of information technology.Through questionnaire survey and interview survey of students and teachers respectively,it is found that students’ information technology knowledge structure is fragmented and their learning interest needs to be improved.Project-based learning has a certain basis for implementation, and teachers recognize IT unit teaching based on project-based learning.Based on the survey results, combined with the characteristics of high school information technology curriculum, the general process of project-based learning and the "ADDIE" model, the instructional design framework of high school information technology unit based on project-based learning is constructed, the instructional design elements are interpreted, and the instructional design is carried out by taking the "Basis of Programming" unit as an example.A teaching case with the theme of "Building Campus card system" has been formed. The teaching case is applied to the teaching practice.Quasi-experimental research method is adopted. The experimental group adopts the unit teaching based on project-based learning, while the control group adopts the normal teaching.Research shows that IT unit teaching based on project-based learning in high school can not only improve students’ interest in learning, enhance students’ cooperation ability, but also help students to construct a systematic knowledge structure, improve students’ academic performance, effectively achieve teaching objectives, and thus develop students’ core literacy.
