The class concentration of students plays an important role in the whole learning process.And the level of students’ class concentration is not only related to the students themselves,but also has an inseparable relationship with the teachers’ class teaching design.Compared with other disciplines,physics is difficult and logical,and physics is a subject based on experiments.Therefore,the purpose of this paper is to investigate the current situation of class concentration,through the study of Attention theory,understand the existing situation of students’ concentration in class,and understand the influence of teachers’ teaching methods on students’ concentration degree is analyzed.Combining with the characteristics of physics,the author puts forward teaching strategies which are suitable for improving students’ concentration degree in physics class.The research results on literature show that there are positive correlations between concentration and performance,stability of attention and learning self-control,and there are also correlations between concentration and memory.Through the study of attention theory,taking educational psychology as the theoretical guide,and combining with the physics curriculum standard in senior,this paper preliminarily studies the factors that affect students’ attention in physics classroom.Afterwards,a questionnaire survey was carried out on teachers and students of Chang Ling Middle School in Baoji,14 physics teachers and 286 students were sampled.The current situation of students’ concentration in physics classroom,the influence of classroom environment and atmosphere on physics class concentration,the influence of interest in physics class concentration,and the influence of teaching activity organization on students’ class concentration were investigated from the perspectives of teachers and students.A detailed analysis of the survey results shows that there are similarities and differences between teachers and students in the current situation and influencing factors of class concentration.According to the theoretical research and survey results,it is concluded that the combination of inadvertent attention and intentional attention can improve the stability of students’ class concentration.According to the characteristics of physics,this paper puts forward a series of teaching strategies suitable for improving students’ classroom concentration according to the theory of intentional attention and inadvertent attention,and expounds the relationship between the strategies,and gives examples.And carry on corresponding teaching design,which has strong operability.In order to verify the practicality and effectiveness of the proposed specific strategy,I chose two parallel classes that I led for teaching experiments.Comparative analysis of the two classes before the experiment revealed that,the difference of the average score between the two classes is not significant.The results of the two classes are tested by independent samples.And there is no significant difference between the two classes before the experiment.After that,one class implements the proposed strategy and the other class carries on routine teaching.After two months of teaching experiment,the contents of the experiment were examined,and the differences between the two classes were analyzed again.The P value was less than 0.05,which had a significant difference.And in the process of experiment,I conducted two immediacy tests,and the average score difference between the two classes after the new lesson "Parabolic Motion" was 6.5378 points and the P value was less than 0.05,which was a significant difference.In the immediacy test after the exercise course "The Law of Gravitation and Applications",although there was no significant difference between the scores of the two classes,the average score difference was 5.5292 points.The effectiveness of the strategy is illustrated in terms of performance.I also observed the classroom performance of students in these two classes.After reviewing the classroom surveillance video,I recorded the duration of the students’ class concentration on class teaching.The average duration of in class with the strategy was higher than that in the class without the strategy.At the end of the experiment,I also conducted an interview with individual students in the experimental class.The students said that their class concentration and acceptance of the teaching content had significantly improved,and the phenomenon of absent-mindedness in class had decreased.The above three aspects show that the strategy of improving the concentration degree in physics class is effective.
