Modern and contemporary poetry is an important part of junior middle school Chinese curriculum,which contains rich excellent cultural connotation.As one of the four modern literary genres,poetry has important pedagogical value in Chinese teaching.However,in actual Chinese teaching,teachers spend little time on modern and contemporary poetry teaching.During the internship,the author fond the current teaching of contemporary poetry suffers from the lack of literacy-oriented goals,lack of systematic integration of content,lack of authentic contexts in activities,and lack of diversified changes in evaluation,leading to fragmentation and arbitrariness in teaching.To solve these problems,we must first clarify the unique characteristics of contemporary poetry that distinguish it from fiction and prose,and then design the teaching of contemporary poetry in a flexible and creative way.The 2022 edition of the language curriculum standards for compulsory education emphasizes the development of students’ core literacy and proposes to use "learning task groups" to organize and present the content of the language curriculum.Therefore,Chinese teaching and instructional design under the guidance of "learning task groups" will become the focus of Chinese education research.Firstly,based on "modern and contemporary poetry",this paper summarizes the characteristics of poetry through relevant literature,namely "uniqueness of imagery","conciseness of language" and "individuality of emotion".Then,this paper sorts out the contemporary poems in the unified version of junior high school language textbooks in terms of the number and distribution of selected texts,sources and themes,and explain the teaching value of contemporary poetry in four aspects: language,thinking,aesthetics and culture.Secondly,the current situation of the teaching design of contemporary poetry in junior high schools is investigated by using literature analysis,case study and interview methods.It is found that there are some problems,such as "scattered objectives,lack of literacy orientation","redundant content,lack of system integration","monotonous activities,lack of real situation " and "single evaluation,lack of multiple changes".Thirdly,on the basis of discovering the existing problems of teaching design,we seek solutions to break through the dilemma,and explore the basic principles,specific processes and implementation paths of modern and contemporary poetry teaching design in junior high school from the perspective of learning task group.Under the principles of "literacy orientation","content integration","situational authenticity" and "task-driven",we formulate learning goals that point to core literacy,integrate rich learning content,design real learning situations,set up cascade learning tasks,implement learning tasks with specific activities,and embed quantitative learning evaluation in the whole learning process.At the same time,corresponding design paths are supplemented in each link: learning objectives point to the core literacy of Chinese,based on speech materials,observe "language application",based on associative imagination,develop "thinking ability",focus on evaluation and creation,highlight "aesthetic creation",take body expression as the starting point,and strengthen "cultural self-confidence".The learning content highlights the unique essence of poetry,with stylistic knowledge as the basic content,poetry appreciation as the core content,and poetry writing as the expansion content.The learning situation is close to the students’ real poetry experience,and creates situations from daily life,literary experience and interdisciplinary learning.The learning task integrates stylistic appreciation and writing,and follows the logic of Chinese subject knowledge and students’ specific cognitive logic;learning evaluation takes into account the main content and pays attention to the diversity of subjects,multidimensional content and diverse ways.Finally,it is the practice and application of the teaching design of modern and contemporary poetry in junior high school from the perspective of learning task group.Taking the poetry of the first unit of the unified edition of the ninth grade as an example,combined with the life experience of the ninth grade students,the author focuses on the theme of "poetic expression of emotion based on image",designs the literacy goal,combs the relevant learning content,and guides the students to actively participate in the relevant practical activities in the process of completing the three learning tasks of "seeking images into emotion,being an appreciator ","entering the hearts of the people,being a reciter" and " symbiosis of words and meanings,being an expresser".Learning evaluation runs through the whole learning process.This presents a more detailed teaching design case of modern and contemporary poetry,and summarizes the reflection.
