| Since the 21 st century,international education has undergone frequent changes.All countries are committed to training talents who meet the needs of The Times and social development,and the spirit of innovation and practical ability have been raised to an unprecedented height.At the same time,with the rapid development of social informatization,information technology has brought great changes to people’s way of living and learning.It is difficult for young people in the new era who do not know how to use information technology and do not have computational thinking to establish themselves in the society,and the cultivation of innovative spirit and practical ability also needs to rely on computational thinking.In view of this,computational thinking has aroused the attention of the country,experts and scholars,academic researchers and the public.Computational thinking is a kind of thinking mode that focuses on solving problems.Its formation can help people solve problems more efficiently.Therefore,its importance is self-evident.However,due to the generally high pressure on teachers and students in our country,it is difficult for teachers to cultivate students’ computational thinking after completing the current teaching content,and the learning pressure of learners limits their time for cultivating other thinking,which leads to the imprisonment of students’ subjectivity and initiative,and they tend to pay more attention to short-term interests while ignoring long-term interests.In other words,students lose themselves in the pursuit of scores.This kind of mechanical and rigid training exhausts their enthusiasm for learning and makes the improvement and cultivation of computational thinking ability have no focus.As a result,the effect of computational thinking training is not good,which is not conducive to the improvement of education quality and the development of students.Nowadays,the combination of constantly innovative information technology and educational ideas has given birth to the micro-class teaching,a new teaching method,which can give full play to students’ main performance,and is conducive to the cultivation of students’ problem-solving ability and the improvement of computational thinking.Therefore,this study aims to explore how teachers can improve students’ computational thinking ability with the help of micro-class teaching design and application.This paper carries out research from the following aspects: First of all,this study systematically combs and analyzes the theory and development of computational thinking and micro-class by using literature survey method,and reasonably expounds the concept of micro-class and computational thinking.Secondly,this paper gives a specific description of the compatibility between the design elements of micro-class and each dimension of computational thinking,and carries out a fusion analysis of the two.Under the guidance of cognitive load theory and other teaching theories,the teaching process of micro-class is designed and the production of micro-class oriented to the training of computational thinking is completed.Finally,in order to ensure that the micro-lesson design of this study can play its own role,this study also makes a corresponding design for the applied teaching process of micro-lessons.This study selected two classes from a school in Chengdu to carry out comparative experiments,and verified the training effect of this study on learners’ computational thinking through questionnaires and interviews.After conducting a comparative teaching experiment,this study obtained the following experimental conclusions: Overall,the micro-class design for computational thinking cultivation and the micro-class teaching process design for computational thinking cultivation proposed in this study can improve learners’ computational thinking ability.Specifically,through comparative analysis of pre and post test data in the experimental class,it was found that learners’ cooperative ability,algorithmic thinking ability,and creativity have all been improved to a certain extent.However,through comparative analysis of the control class,it was found that cooperative ability has been greatly improved,which to some extent also indicates that the study has improved learners’ learning autonomy.Finally,through interviews,this study found that the learners involved had a great interest in micro-class learning oriented towards the cultivation of computational thinking. |
