| In the context of the rapid development of the Internet,the field of communication has also been quietly changing.The popularization of mobile smart terminals,the technical maturity of We Chat public platforms,the intelligent exploitation of applications,and the upgrading of the content of short video media,such new media technologies and applications have brought new changes to society.On 5 March 2018,the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China issued a study programme on implementing the "Youth Learning" initiative across the league,and "Youth Learning" was launched as a new type of political and ideological education initiative for universities in the background of the aforementioned technology and era.Driven by both policy and technology,young university students have also responded to the trend of the times,showing a greater willingness to accept mainstream ideas,to embrace information and education through new technological means,and a preference for online education models.As a result,the dissemination and development of Youth Learning has been very rapid in colleges and universities.The dissemination format of Youth Learning has distinct contemporary characteristics,using online distribution so that university students would be able to learn anytime and anywhere,using a vertical viewing mode to increase the immersive learning experience,and using a youthful mindset and communication features that are relevant to the ideology of university students.The content of the "Youth Learning" programme is highly tangible,with each issue being largely thematic and focused on current events and issues in society,as well as being close to the youth,focusing on the "new ideas" as a whole.The communication effect of "Youth Learning" is also very significant.From the micro level,it promotes the young students’ understanding of the mainstream ideology,enhances young students’ recognition of the mainstream ideology,and guides young students away from the trap of non mainstream ideology.From a macro perspective,the dissemination of "Youth Learning" helps to consolidate the ideological security of colleges and universities,enhance the strength of young people’s cohesive spirit and will,and promote the inheritance of the revolutionary spirit of red culture.Nevertheless,over the past few years of broadcasting,we could observe that some problems such as omissions in the dissemination form,lack of management of dissemination actions,excessive entertainment of guests,and poor interaction design still existed in the process of disseminating "Youth Learning" in colleges and universities,which resulted in a certain limitation of the effectiveness of distribution."Youth Learning" should be optimized from four aspects: strengthening assessment and improving supervision,combining video content to enhance practice,being loyal to simple content to prevent excessive entertainment,and enhancing interactive design to enhance learners’ interest,so as to improve the effect of learning and dissemination. |
