A Study On Social Work Interventions On Youth Internet Addiction In The Context Of Public Health Emergencies

The Internet is an indispensable part of our life,which has a great impact on People’s Daily study,work and life.The Internet has penetrated into many aspects of People’s Daily life,and the number of Internet users in China is also on the rise.Under the influence of public health emergency,people’s life style is changed,students have to contact electronic products in order to study,which makes online teaching become a new mode for Chinese students to study at home.According to the survey,under the influence of public health emergencies,many students’ learning style has changed,the number of Internet addiction teenagers is increasing,and there are many problems,such as the resumption of class during the listless,homework perfunctory,the most serious is plummeting eyesight.Therefore,there is a growing trend of Internet addiction among teenagers.Social work is a profession that follows the people-oriented value concept and helps others to help themselves.The professional nature of social work determines that it plays an indispensable role under the impact of public health emergencies.This paper focuses on the problem of adolescent Internet addiction under the influence of public health emergencies.Starting from the perspective of social work,this paper makes practical intervention on the problem of adolescent Internet addiction by using the method of case work.First of all,this paper takes the students of a middle school in Chengde City as the survey object,through the method of questionnaire survey to grasp the Internet situation of the students in this school,and according to the survey results,analyzes the causes of Internet addiction among teenagers.Secondly,two representative clients were identified through teacher recommendation and investigation and interview,and professional social work intervention skills were used to help the clients effectively alleviate the problem of Internet addiction.Finally,it is hoped that through the use of professional theories and methods of social work,relevant suggestions can be put forward to effectively solve the problem of adolescent Internet addiction in public health emergencies,so as to help the clients and more adolescents gradually get rid of their own Internet addiction problem,make reasonable use of the Internet,and normally integrate into the real life and study.The practical research shows that social work has certain advantages in intervening the problem of Internet addiction.Through the case work intervention of adolescent Internet addiction,this study puts forward suggestions from the aspects of family,school,society and adolescents themselves,hoping to help different types of adolescents with Internet addiction out of the dilemma,create a healthy and good growth environment for teenagers,and give play to the advantages of social work.
