With the development of Internet technology,wechat,as a new type of social media,is rapidly popularized.In the process of home school communication,wechat group has gradually become an auxiliary tool for home school management because of its diversified functions and convenience.The use of wechat group accelerates the communication frequency of members,enhances the expression desire of members,and also promotes the harmonious relationship between members.Based on merowitz’s media situation theory and Goffman’s self presentation theory,and referring to the research proposal in the research on the self presentation behavior of wechat circle of friends from the perspective of media situation,this paper designs a questionnaire combined with the characteristics and research purpose of primary school parents’ wechat group.By investigating the basic situation of the use of primary school parents’ wechat group,including communication frequency,communication content,social efficiency,interpersonal relationship construction,etc.,according to the basic situation of "stage setting",this paper extracts behavioral factors including avatar,change frequency of individual signature,whether the content published by the circle of friends has been modified,and measures the use of individual self presentation strategy and social willingness in the context of parents’ wechat group.SPSS software was used to make descriptive statistics on the samples,and the basic characteristics of wechat group situation and overall social interaction of primary school parents were investigated from the static level.Based on the results of questionnaire analysis,semi-structured interviews were conducted with some individual members of primary school parents’ wechat group,in-depth excavation of the media situation of the class group,the role transformation of group members and the specific characteristics of individuals,and dynamic description and Discussion on how individual parents can realize individual performance.The results show that the characteristics of the new "middle area" situation of primary school parents’ wechat group are mainly reflected in the "middle area" behavior showing the back area bias,the integration of front and back ends in the situation of parents’ wechat group,and the closeness and mobility of primary school parents’ wechat group.The self presentation characteristics of individuals in the context of primary school parents’ wechat group are mainly reflected in the construction characteristics of the front and back office in the primary school parents’ wechat group,the self "personal" presentation in the context of primary school parents’ wechat group,and the feedback and adjustment of self presentation in the context of primary school parents’ wechat group;The mapping of the current social situation of primary school parents’ wechat group to real social communication is mainly reflected in three dimensions: the mapping of communication objects,the mapping of communication depth and frequency,and the mapping of communication status.In the process of using wechat group,the role of individual authority is weakened and changed,the social relationship is shallow under the strong interpersonal relationship,and the real attention is squeezed.
