Children are the hope and future of the motherland,in terms of whether they have good responsibility qualities,it also affects the future development of the country in addition to having close connection with their own growth.According to the issuing of the Core Literacy for the Development of Chinese Students by the state in 2016,the "responsibility taking" is required to be established as the necessary quality for contemporary children,so the development of responsibility education can be further promoted.In primary school stage,the main path to implement children’s responsibility education lies in the course of morality and rule of law,and the abundant resources for responsibility education are undoubtedly contained by textbooks as their carriers.Therefore,it is of certain value and significance to carry out the study on the elements of child responsibility education in the morality and rule of law textbooks for primary school.The content analysis method is used to regard the text related to the elements of children’s responsibility education in the morality and rule of law textbooks for primary school as an analysis sample.On the basis of the study results of relevant scholars and education policy content,an analytical framework for the elements of children’s responsibility education is constructed.From three aspects such as the elements of responsibility education in the field of children’s personal life,the elements of responsibility education in the field of public life,and the elements of responsibility education in the field of global life,the elements of children’s responsibility education in morality and rule of law textbooks for primary school are deeply analyzed.This aims at exploring the features and problems that children’s responsibility education elements present in textbooks,so the corresponding suggestions can be proposed for the further perfection of children’s responsibility education and the promotion of the better development of children’s responsibility education.In accordance with the study,it is found that the elements of children’s responsibility education in textbooks present the features as follows: such as the respect of the dominant position of children;the educational content being close to life;the abundant and diverse educational methods;the hierarchical presentation methods;the embodiment of the permeability between the elements of children’s responsibility education.Meanwhile,what should be pointed out is that some problems are found to exist for the elements of children’s responsibility education:including the insufficient understanding of the laws of children’s physical and mental development;the content of of children’s responsibility education elements is not complete enough;and the lack of close combination of tradition with modernity.By taking the features and problems presented by the elements of children’s responsibility education into account,the relevant studies on children’s responsibility education are also combined to put forward the following suggestions for the perfection of children’s responsibility education: Firstly,the concept of children-centered responsibility education should be further highlighted,children’s subjective consciousness should be cultivated and an educational atmosphere that respects children’s subjectivity should be created;the responsibility education content meeting the actual needs of children should be designed based on the laws of their physical and mental development;and the diverse educational methods should be chosen in line with the formation mechanism of children’s responsibility quality.Secondly,a comprehensive content system of children’s responsibility education should be constructed from three aspects,including the responsibility education in the field of children’s personal life,the responsibility education in the field of public life,and the responsibility education in the field of global life.Thirdly,the compatibility between tradition and modernity should be enhanced.On the one hand,the traditional Chinese responsibility education should be critically inherited,the traditional and ethnic features of children’s responsibility education should be highlighted.On the other hand,the current life should be considered to update educational content by keeping pace with the times,so the modernity of children’s responsibility education can be enhanced.
