Discipline core literacy is the core literacy of each discipline condensed based on the discipline itself, and the implementation of discipline core literacy has also become the key to the new curriculum reform. The new geography curriculum standard for senior high schools proposes for the first time that the core literacy of the geography discipline consists of four parts: the concept of human-earth coordination, comprehensive thinking, regional cognition, and geographical practice. The concept of human-earth coordination is the most core value contained in the content of the geography curriculum. Therefore, cultivating students’ concept of human-earth coordination is of great significance for implementing the core literacy of geography. This study introduces AR teaching resources into geography classroom teaching in senior high schools, using AR teaching resources to visually present complex and abstract knowledge points to students, helping them understand geographical knowledge while cultivating their human-earth coordination perspective.Firstly,by reviewing the literature,it clarifies the current situation of the application of augmented reality technology in education at home and abroad,as well as the research status of the concept of human-earth coordination;Secondly, through issuing questionnaires to students in experimental schools and conducting interviews with teachers, the author found that there are three problems in the teaching of cultivating students’ concept of human-earth coordination in experimental schools: students’ low interest in and attention to the relevant content of the concept of human-earth coordination, lack of geographical practical activities, and lack of teaching methods. In response to the above issues and in combination with literature, the author proposes the application principles and strategies of using AR teaching resources to cultivate senior high school students’ concept of human land coordination; Finally, based on this application principle and strategy,an application case of cultivating high school students’ human-earth coordination concept supported by AR teaching resources is designed and experimental research is conducted. After the experiment, the author used the prepared test questions and questionnaires to test the teaching effect, and analyzed the test results and questionnaire survey results. The author concluded that the application of AR software to geography teaching in senior high schools can help improve classroom teaching efficiency and improve students’ cognitive level of human-earth coordination, especially in improving students’ cognition of the interaction between people and land. This also confirms the effectiveness of using AR teaching resources in high school geography classes to cultivate high school students’ human-earth coordination concepts.
