Research On Contradiction Between Supplyand Demand Andresolution Of Medical Social Work Services Study

As one of the top three hospitals in China,N Hospital has the ability to provide a large number of resources for the development of medical social workers in all aspects and better promote the services of medical social workers.N Hospital explored the mode of "medical social workers + voluntary services" in the provincial health system earlier,and took the lead in setting up the first medical social work Department in the province in June 2018.The mode of "medical social work +voluntary service" promotes medical humanistic care,which improves patients’ satisfaction and enhances patients’ sense of access to medical care.The hospital implements precise public welfare assistance,designs public welfare service projects for specific diseases,and carries out public charity activities.Link multiple charity funds and continue to promote the construction of various charity platforms to meet patients’ multi-level service needs.N Hospital has an early start in the construction of medical social workers in the province and has rich experience.Its services and system are relatively sound and mature,and the various social work services it has carried out have different responses.Based on my internship experience in N Hospital,the author interviewed various groups in the hospital,conducted ward rounds to investigate patients,and provided social work services.It was found that the needs of patients in various aspects still could not be well met,and there were contradictions between the supply and demand of medical social work services and the shortage of medical assistance resources and patients’ urgent needs for medical assistance.The contradiction between imperfect service provision for special groups and the particularity of service demand,the contradiction between the participation of service objects and the demand,the treatment of medical social workers is generally not high,and the professional value is difficult to be reflected.Based on the analysis of the above contradictions,the author believes that in order to promote the balance between supply and demand of medical social workers,we must optimize the allocation structure of hospital resources and improve the efficiency of resource utilization.To strengthen the construction of medical social workers,build hospital volunteer teams,make them an important force to help improve medical social work services,improve relevant policies for medical social work,promote the localization of medical social work,and at the same time provide services satisfactory to all parties.
