Research On The Influencing Factors Of College Students’ Information Security Behavior

The continuous development of information technology has led to the gradual increase of social network users among college students,and social networks based on the Internet are gradually becoming the main platform for college students to exchange information.At the same time,the progress of technology and the popularization of social networks have broadened the horizons of college students and greatly changed their daily life.However,at the same time,it also brings some risks to the security of personal information of college students,and some information leakage and fraud of college students often occur.Therefore,it is important to study the factors influencing the information security behavior of college students and make effective suggestions for the current information security behavior of college students in order to improve the information security behavior of college students.In this paper,we analyze the influencing factors of college students’ information security behavior in social networks based on social cognitive theory and protection motivation theory by using literature research.Eight variables were selected and seven hypotheses were proposed based on the research results of previous scholars and combined with social cognitive theory and protection motivation theory.Then,the relevant influencing factor model was established.A total of 275 questionnaire data were collected by questionnaire method,and then SPSS23.0 and AMOS23.0statistical analysis software were used to do reliability analysis and validity analysis on the collected questionnaire data,and then structural equations were used to test the model of college students’ information security behavior in social networks.Finally,we got that perceived susceptibility,perceived severity,perceived threat,self-efficacy,response efficacy and college students’ willingness to protect information security all have positive effects on college students’ information security behavior,and only self-avoidance behavior has negative effects on college students’ information security behavior.Finally,based on the findings of the study,we put forward relevant suggestions on the information security of college students in social networks,so as to guide and promote the information security behavior of college students in social networks and reduce the risk of information leakage.
