The new curriculum emphasises that senior secondary ideology and politics classes must be led by advanced educational concepts,deepen the reform of the senior secondary politics curriculum in a comprehensive manner,focus on the formation and development of the core literacy of the subject,focus on improving teaching and learning styles,and continuously improve the level of curriculum implementation.Under the wave of the new curriculum reform,infiltration teaching,which points to the core literacy of the subject,has come into being.As a result of the reform and innovation of classroom teaching methods in the context of core literacy,infiltration teaching emphasises the construction of an immersion environment suitable for students’ all-round development and the use of various immersion pathways to help students improve their cognition,enhance their abilities and cultivate core subject literacy.The choice and application of immersion teaching in senior secondary thought and politics classes is not only necessary to realise students’ deep learning,but also an inherent requirement for deepening the curriculum reform of senior secondary politics subjects.Therefore,this article focuses on the problems and reasons for the use of infiltration teaching in high school ideology and politics classes,and in this way explores strategies for improving infiltration teaching in high school ideology and politics classes.The whole paper is divided into the following five parts of discussion:The first part is the introduction,which introduces the research background and significance of this paper,outlines the current situation of domestic and international research on infiltration teaching,and puts forward the research ideas and research methods.The second part is the theoretical elaboration of infiltration teaching in high school ideology and politics class and the significance of its application.It briefly outlines the connotation,characteristics and theoretical basis of infiltration teaching,and focuses on the significance of the application of infiltration teaching in high school ideology and politics class.The third part is an analysis of the current situation of infiltration teaching in high school ideology and politics classes.Combining the results of questionnaires and interviews with teachers and students,it is concluded that the current problems of infiltration teaching in high school ideology and politics classes include low frequency of use in regular classes,deviations in the setting of immersion content,the organization of immersion teaching activities away from pre-determined goals,and low importance attached to the school level,and a profound analysis of the causes of the problems.In the fourth part,in response to the problems and causes raised,strategies for improving infiltration teaching in high school ideology and politics classes are proposed in terms of teachers’ own teaching ability,students’ learning styles,assessment systems,and schools’ safeguarding efforts.The fifth part is an instructional design for the use of infiltration teaching in high school ideology and politics class,combining the relevant theories of infiltration teaching with teaching practice in order to explore the effective use of infiltration teaching in high school ideology and politics class,hoping to provide some useful inspiration and reference for ideology and politics teachers in using infiltration teaching.
