Junior high school music club activities are an important component of junior high school music teaching.Guitar teaching in junior high school music club activities can not only provide students with rich and colorful extracurricular activities,but also expand the forms of music education,providing students with more learning and aesthetic experiences.This topic combines the author’s years of frontline teaching experience and provides a deep summary and reflection on the guitar teaching in junior high school music club activities,exploring a teaching system that is more suitable for students’ learning reality.Through the study of this topic,the teaching of guitar is made more rational and scientific,and the teaching system is made more academic.Combined with the music education concepts of Bennett Reimer and Edwin Gordon,the psychological and logical aspects of music learning are deeply deconstructed,thus cultivating students’ music aesthetics in a unique way,liberating their nature,and unleashing their creativity.I would like to share my experience with music educators in this article,and also provide some reference for the development and implementation of other instrument teaching in middle school music club activities.This article adopts the methods of literature review,empirical research,comparative analysis,etc.,taking students from three junior high schools in Xuchang City as the research object,and focusing on the practical process of guitar teaching in junior high school music club activities.Firstly,in the introduction section,a brief explanation is given on the research background,purpose and significance,current research status and methods,as well as the origin and classification of guitars;Then,it analyzed the many advantages of using guitar as an instrumental medium for teaching in junior high school music club activities,including advantages in learning conditions,advantages in music theory knowledge and performance skills,and advantages in music ability and aesthetics;Next,we will focus on the entire process of organizing and conducting guitar teaching in junior high school music club activities,including the organization and management of guitar clubs,specific methods and steps of guitar teaching,artistic practice achievements,and teaching evaluation;Finally,reflect on the problems encountered in organizing activities and teaching,including the difficulty in unifying students’ music foundation and learning progress,the tendency for students to develop inertia,the lack of sufficient practice time for students,the lack of systematic and scientific physical and online teaching resources in China,and the singularity and tradition of club organization forms.Corresponding strategies are proposed to address the above issues.The shortcomings of this research topic lie in the author’s lack of universality in the use of online teaching media platforms,as well as the limited requirements of cooperative schools,which make the organizational form of club activities slightly singular.It still needs to be further improved in future practice.
