Study On The Current Situation,problems And Countermeasures Of Children’s Extracurricular Reading Habits Of Migrant Workers In China

In order to cultivate good extracurricular reading habits of migrant children and deepen the research on extracurricular reading habits,this study investigates the extracurricular reading habits of migrant children in s primary school in Yuhua District,Changsha,understands the current situation and existing problems of the school’s migrant children’s extracurricular reading habits,analyzes the causes of the problems and puts forward feasible countermeasures.Through the investigation and research,it is found that the extracurricular reading of the accompanying children of s primary school mainly depends on external stimulation,and the reading motivation is utilitarian;The accompanying children have a correct understanding of reading,but they have the problem of insufficient internal drive of reading interest;There are problems of arbitrariness and blindness in the choice of reading content;Some students’ extracurricular reading time and reading volume can not meet the requirements of the new curriculum standard,and there are some problems such as less reading time and insufficient reading volume;Students’ extracurricular reading is easy to be influenced by the outside world,and their extracurricular reading will is weak;Improper or insufficient reading methods.This paper analyzes the reasons for the problems of the children’s extracurricular reading habits from the aspects of students,schools,families and society.Through the analysis of the reasons,it is proposed that efforts should be made from the following aspects to cultivate the children’s good extracurricular reading habits: Students’ independent reading consciousness and behavior;The school creates the main position for cultivating students’ extracurricular reading habits;The family plays the role of guidance,encouragement and edification;Policy support from superior competent departments.This study tries to provide some enlightenment for the cultivation of children’s extracurricular reading habits.Primary school is the key period of habit formation.Migrant workers are an important force in urban construction.It is necessary to study the extracurricular reading habits of migrant children.In the survey,it is found that students,families and schools still have room for improvement in the cultivation of extracurricular reading habits,or lack of awareness,attention or restrictions.The cultivation of extracurricular reading habits requires students to improve their understanding,look to the future,need school education,plan long-term choices and effective guidance,and need more family attention,support and guidance,and pay more time and energy.It is a good choice to develop extracurricular reading habits and coeducation at home and school.
