The transformation of Chinese society into a new era has led to the emergence of various values,which have also impacted people’s understanding and pursuit of happiness,making people’s perception of happiness increasingly blurred and even misunderstanding the meaning of happiness.This requires us to combine happiness and education,to change people’s misconceptions about happiness by means of education,and to establish the purpose of life through happiness education,i.e.,the pursuit of lifelong happiness and the pursuit of becoming a fully free and fully developed person.The pursuit of all-round development and happiness are essentially related,and education is the ladder for all-round development of human beings,which reveals that we should implement happiness education that contains the moral of happiness and promotes all-round development.Studying happiness education in the context of all-round development can produce a new understanding of its connotation and extension.This thesis is intended to complete four chapters,including the introduction,overview of happiness education and comprehensive human development theory,analysis of the current situation and constraints of college students’ happiness under the measurement of comprehensive development theory,and the practice of college students’ happiness education under the guidance of comprehensive human development theory.During the research process,by using the literature research method and multidisciplinary cross-research method,I compared,analyzed and summarized the relevant domestic and foreign literature,and found that there were more topics and achievements focusing on the theory of comprehensive human development and the theory of happiness respectively,while there were not many papers combining the two.Thus,after elaborating the definition of the two concepts,the author focuses on the dialectical relationship between the theory of comprehensive human development and happiness education.Thus,it is concluded that the theory of comprehensive human development can be used as a guiding concept for the implementation of happiness education for college students,while happiness education is an important condition for the realization of comprehensive human development,and the two complement each other and promote each other.In reality,the implementation of happiness education for college students in China faces many problems: some college students have misunderstandings about happiness education,the core content of happiness education is missing,its development environment needs to be optimized,and happiness education has not formed a complete system.All the above problems have some constraints:firstly,some college students’ view of happiness is influenced by the bad social value tendency of selfishness and utilitarianism;secondly,the wrong values on talent cultivation in colleges and universities hinder college students’ happin ess value orientation;again,family life,campus culture,interpersonal relationship and social evaluation affect the enhancement of college students’ happiness;finally,the family education and school education methods neglect people,college students personality,self-cognitive ability and frustration resistance all restrict the cultivation and improvement of happiness ability.Without the "combined" support of family,school and society,the happiness education of college students will lack substantial participants and practitioners,and it will be difficult to make them have a happy personality and enjoy a happy life.The purpose of analyzing the existing problems and constraints of happiness education for college students is to find a path to achieve the harmonious coexistence of comprehensive human development and happiness education,and to enable college students to better understand happiness,enjoy happiness and create happiness.Therefore,the practical path proposed in this paper includes: reshaping college students’ concept of happiness with Marxist concept of happiness,promoting the cultivation of college students’ happiness emotion,happiness ability and self-development,improving college students’ social interaction ability,optimizing college students’ happiness education environment in various aspects,and building a "trinity" happiness education in which school,family and society unite "synergy".The "trinity" of happiness education practice picture.
