In 2022,the latest "Vocational Education Law" was successfully passed.The newly revised "Vocational Education Law" not only proposed that students in vocational schools have equal opportunities with students in ordinary schools at the same level in terms of enrollment,but also put forward clear requirements for the first time in terms of employment and equal development of career.Since then,the social status and treatment of technical and skilled talents have been further protected and improved at the legal level,This undoubtedly brings new development opportunities to the employment of students in higher vocational colleges.However,the reasons that affect employment are not only policy factors,but also the quality of the country’s economic development,the current employment environment,the degree of population aging and other factors.At the same time,they will also be affected by the imbalance between education resources and employment resources,the lack of personal ability and other factors.With the rapid development of China’s economy,the wealth gap has also been widening.The wealth gap between families directly affects the education,employment and development opportunities available to children.The advantages and disadvantages of family capital have deepened the solidification of social intergenerational mobility.Children with good family capital will have easier access to good education and employment resources and achieve upward mobility at the social level.However,students with disadvantaged family capital are difficult to obtain good educational opportunities and employment development level,and it is increasingly difficult to achieve upward mobility at the social level only through their own efforts.Firstly,this paper starts with the connotation of family capital through the method of literature research,combines the theory of social stratification,the theory of intergenerational transmission of capital and the theory of career development,and makes a specific division of family capital,clarifying the measurement standards of family economic capital,cultural capital and social capital.Secondly,using the social survey research method,the family capital and employment status of students in higher vocational colleges in Anhui Province were investigated to understand the family capital,employment expectations and employment status of students in higher vocational colleges in Anhui Province,and the quantitative analysis method was used to analyze the data collected through SPSS software to explore the specific impact of family capital on employment of students in higher vocational colleges in Anhui Province.It is found that the family capital of students in higher vocational colleges in Anhui Province is not only at a disadvantage in the middle and lower levels,but also has a significant impact on students’ employment choices,employability and occupational status.Finally,according to the conclusions of the data analysis,relevant suggestions are put forward for different subjects.From the perspective of students,we should make good use of the resources and time of the school,strive to improve our comprehensive ability,and establish the correct motivation for employment achievement;From the perspective of parents,we should attach importance to the cultivation of family cultural atmosphere,understand current events,pay attention to the development trend of society,increase communication with children,and help children establish a correct concept of employment;From the perspective of schools,we should pay full attention to students’ family information,give full play to its guiding role in employment work,and provide diversified employment guidance and employment opportunities;From the perspective of enterprises,we should deepen the cooperation between schools and enterprises,improve the recruitment system,and select candidates fairly according to the post setting requirements;From the perspective of the government,we should narrow the difference in education level,strive to achieve a balanced distribution of social resources,and create a fair competitive employment environment.Figure [7] Table [30] Reference [54]...
