In 2020,the number of college graduates in China hit a new record high.Based on the outbreak of COVID-19,the economy of all countries in the world has been negatively affected,and college graduates have suffered unprecedented pressure and test in terms of employment.This article defines "in higher vocational colleges","vocational education" and "employment on the basis of the concept of" combination "stakeholder" and "polycentric governance theory",using the method of questionnaire investigation,interview,literature analysis and statistics,analyzes the characteristics and present situation of graduate employment in higher vocational colleges,and discusses the problems existed in the.First,based on the current international and domestic situations,some local governments have one-side pursuit of employment rate,lack guidance,support,financial input and implementation of employment policies,and the employment security system is not perfect enough.The social recognition of higher vocational education is not high.Secondly,there are problems such as lagging talent training mode in higher vocational colleges,mismatching of specialty setting and market demand,and insufficient professional employment guidance team.Third,the problem of discrimination between employers and their academic qualifications and employment system still exists.Fourth,vocational college graduates own employment concept and personal comprehensive quality and other aspects of the problem.Finally,based on the problems existing in the employment of vocational college graduates,reasonable improvement measures are put forward.This paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures from the government,higher vocational colleges,employers and graduates of higher vocational colleges: First,the government should further strengthen the sense of responsibility,increase financial investment,while supporting the better development of small and micro enterprises,expand the employment scale.Second,higher vocational colleges should reform the talent training mode,establish high-quality teachers,adjust and set up majors in accordance with the market orientation and the needs of enterprises,construct the characteristic curriculum system in higher vocational colleges based on ability,and improve the comprehensive ability of students.Third,to give full play to the synergistic role,schools and government should strengthen employment and entrepreneurship guidance,through the establishment of training bases,further strengthen school-enterprise cooperation,broaden the employment channels;We will improve incentive policies for entrepreneurship,and further protect and stimulate students’ enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurship.Fourth,employers should further eliminate the phenomenon of discrimination against academic qualifications,improve the employment system and mechanism,and carry out high-quality employment training.Fifth,higher vocational college graduates should establish a correct employment concept,change the traditional employment concept,and constantly improve their comprehensive quality and professional ability. |
