| At present,profound changes are taking place in the field of ideological and political teaching in senior high schools.The implementation of the new college entrance examination program points out the new direction of education and teaching.At the same time,The Standard for Ideological and Political Courses in Ordinary High Schools(2020 Revision)points out that "the key to teaching ideological and political courses is teachers.Only by actively promoting and effectively ensuring the professional growth of ideological and political teachers can the educational role of ideological and political courses be fully played." These constitute the era background for the improvement of the professional quality of ideological and political teachers in senior high schools.In order to meet the requirements and challenges of the new curriculum reform,it is necessary for the ideological and political teachers to improve the professional quality of the ideological and political curriculum in the new period.Under the new round of curriculum reform,promoting the optimization of the professional quality of ideological and political teachers in senior high schools is conducive to promoting the professional development of teachers,building the team of ideological and political teachers,implementing the goal of core quality,and achieving the task of establishing morality and cultivating people.In view of this,this study deeply investigates some senior middle schools in J City to understand the current status of the professional quality of ideological and political teachers in senior high schools,and focus on exploring effective ways to improve the professional quality of senior high school ideological and political teachers.Specifically,this study discusses the theme in four parts.The first part is the theoretical overview,which first explains the relevant concepts of the professional quality of senior high school ideological and political teachers,and then clarifies the requirements and significance of the professional quality optimization of senior high school ideological and political teachers in the context of the new curriculum reform.The second part is the analysis of the current situation.This part mainly uses questionnaire survey method,supplemented by interview survey method,and discusses the three dimensions of ideological and political literacy,moral and personality literacy,and knowledge and skills literacy.The main reasons are insufficient self-development of teachers,inadequate support at the school level,and weak social environment protection.The fourth part is the improvement measures,which determine the main paths for optimization from five aspects: ideological guidance,top-level design,social security,practical implementation,and key driving forces.Ideological guidance refers to the precise efforts of party building around the political direction of teachers;The top-level design requires the education department to improve the management mechanism of teacher work;Social security refers to the collaborative efforts of society to support teacher development;Practice and implementation means that schools establish a platform for the development of teachers’ professional literacy;The key driving force is for teachers to fully utilize their subjective initiative.Only by starting from the above five perspectives and working together,can the professional quality of high school ideological and political course teachers be effectively improved. |
