The political teachers in middle school take not only the task of spread of knowledge but also the responsibility of cultivating young generation's noble sentiments. Psychological quality is the overall quality of the people a part that formed under the effect of personality psychological characteristics of interaction between heredity and environment. This paper selects Kaifeng City high school ideological and Political Teachers as the research object, research focus under the background of new curriculum reform, in the ideological and political teachers mental health diathesis, understanding of the new curriculum reform, on work stress perception and coping situation. Through the investigation, to, understanding the real idea of Ideological and political teachers, explore the countermeasures and methods of improving the psychological quality of teachers.Studies have shown that high school ideological and political teachers' psychological quality affected by many factors, such as the satisfaction of material needs and spiritual needs, new curriculum reform has brought pressure, interpersonal relationship. The wages of teachers' working enthusiasm and happiness index has direct influence, the satisfaction degree of the teacher to work not only to meet the needs of the spirit of the teaching, also want to consider the material needs; in the face of the new curriculum reform, many teachers feel the pressure, teachers are direct participants in the curriculum reform and teaching practice, and in front of the curriculum reform of teachers have to bear great psychological pressure; about interpersonal relationship according to the results of the survey, teachers think Students in the current situation is more complex, how to deal with students and colleagues relationship is troubled by the teachers and a hand.
