The classroom is the main place where teaching and learning take place, and good classroom order is the most important prerequisite for teachers to be able to fully and effectively deliver the content and for students to reap the benefits of good learning. However,as the new curriculum reform progresses and teaching models become more flexible and diverse, problematic behaviour in the primary classroom is increasing day by day.For trainee teachers who are about to enter the teaching profession, the management of these problem behaviors in the classroom is a huge problem for them. This is why it is important for trainee teachers to accurately interpret and manage problematic classroom behaviour for the development of their students and their own growth. And it is of great importance that research is conducted on how trainee teachers manage problematic classroom behaviour, help students develop good classroom habits, and what strategies can be used to improve trainee teachers’ classroom management skills. This research is divided into three main parts: Part I.Students’ problem behaviour in the classroom: an important factor influencing primary trainee teachers’ classroom teaching.Part II.Investigating the current situation and tracing the causes of primary trainee teachers’ management of classroom problem behaviour: a reality scan.Part III.Exploring strategies to improve primary trainee teachers’ management of classroom problem behaviour: getting out of the problem. In this research, students’ problematic classroom behaviour is defined as behaviour that violates the rules of classroom behaviour or teaching requirements, which interferes to varying degrees with the normal conduct of classroom activities, hinders teachers’ teaching, students’ and others’ learning and causes distress to teachers. The results show that the problematic behaviour of students in the classroom is widespread, concentrated and subordinate, mainly in the form of drifting off, making their own small movements, talking to classmates and playing. The majority of trainee teachers have a positive or neutral attitude towards problem behaviour in the classroom and adopt a variety of management approaches, but there are also problems with some teachers’ poor management attitudes, inappropriate management approaches and weak management outcomes. There is no single reason why trainee teachers experience inadequate management of classroom behaviour, but rather a combination of factors such as the environment, teachers and students.Based on the results of the investigation into student classroom problem behavior and the current state and reasons for trainee teachers’ management of such behavior, based on the experience of domestic and foreign teachers in managing classroom problem behavior and proposes the following enhancement strategies: 1)Management attitude: 1.Enhance classroom management awareness;2.Reflect on and change management attitudes;3.Improve classroom management concepts;4.Establish a shared growth community for trainee teachers.2)Management methods: 1.Enhance teaching attractiveness;2.Trainee teachers should develop scientific classroom rules;3.Guide students to self-manage;4.Use information technology software to regulate behavior.3)Management effectiveness:1.Schools should implement guidance for trainee teachers;2.Build a scientific and harmonious environment;3.Strengthen the training of trainee teachers’ management skills;4.Strengthen cooperation between schools and families. The aim of these three aspects is to improve the effectiveness of trainee teachers’ management of classroom problem behavior in primary schools, and to continuously promote the professional growth of trainee teachers and the comprehensive development of students.
