Football,as the world’s largest sports event,is an important means to improve the physical fitness of the people and enhance sports spirit education.In recent years,the development of campus football has been rapid,and campus football in universities is particularly important as a downstream and harvest stage of football.But nowadays,the proportion of female college students participating in football activities is still not optimistic,in order to improve the current situation where the level of female college students participating in football activities is relatively low.Based on Bandura’s self-efficacy theory as the basic theoretical analysis framework,this paper mainly uses a variety of statistical methods such as literature review,experiment and mathematical statistics for analysis.The results show that football games have a positive impact and correlation on the self-efficacy of female college students participating in football activities.Among them,the game design of this study is strictly designed according to the four major influencing factors of self-efficacy,which fills the gap in related research.As follows:(1)The design of football games can follow the four influencing factors in Bandura’s specific self-efficacy theory.(2)After 12 weeks of football game intervention,female college students’ self-efficacy of participating in football activities in the experimental group after the experiment was significantly different from that of the experimental group before the experiment and the control group after the experiment(p<0.01)and was positively correlated.The self-efficacy of the experimental subjects in the control group participating in football activities after the experiment did not show significant differences compared to the control group before the experiment(p>0.05).(3)Through multiple linear regression analysis,the relationship between participation in football games and self-efficacy in football activities is positively correlated,and the correlation coefficient is significant,with a certain linear relationship.(4)Among the football games designed based on the four influencing factors of self-efficacy,the one designed based on success or failure experience has the greatest impact on the self-efficacy of female college students participating in football activities,while emotions and psychology have the smallest impact on the self-efficacy of female college students participating in football activities.In summary,relevant policy recommendations are proposed as follows:(1)Adding football games to football teaching in universities can effectively enhance the self-efficacy of female college students in participating in football activities and increase their learning enthusiasm.According to the school’s football teaching curriculum,appropriate elements of football games can be added for teaching.(2)In terms of success or failure experience,in the design process of future football games,attention should be paid to this factor,which plays a dominant role in the four major factors that affect the self-efficacy of female college students.The game content should be as close to the students’ past success experiences as possible to achieve the goal of improving their self-efficacy.(3)In terms of alternative experience,football games should be designed to align with past learning content as much as possible,in order to influence students’ self-efficacy in learning football and achieve better teaching objectives and effects.(4)In terms of verbal persuasion,football games should incorporate more evaluations between students and teachers’ evaluations of students in the implementation process,and encourage positive evaluations or positive language for evaluation.This will affect students’ self-efficacy in participating in football and improve the quality of teaching.(5)In terms of emotions and psychology,during the organization and implementation stage of football games,as a teacher,it is necessary to manage students appropriately,promote friendly communication between students,create a relaxed learning atmosphere,and actively take corresponding measures when problems arise in the game,in order to improve students’ self-efficacy in this aspect and achieve the goal of learning football.
