Research On Sports Tourism Promoting Economic Diversification In Macao SAR From The Perspective Of Integration

This study takes Macao sports tourism as the main research object.Through field research and literature data,it collects information and materials of sports venues and venues,sports events and entertainment items,tourists and tourist consumption data,scenic spots and categories,aviation network,festivals and events,hotels and sports tourism resources in Macao Peninsula,Taipa and Coloane.By analyzing its current situation and characteristics,it is concluded that the development of sports tourism in Macao has three major advantages,including various resource endowments,related policy support and perfect urban sports tourism hardware facilities.Secondly,this study investigates the experience and satisfaction of Macao sports tourism consumers through questionnaire survey.Through the survey of basic information,experience and satisfaction,it can be concluded that those with higher education and income prefer Macao sports tourism and have higher satisfaction.Low-and middle-income tourists have opinions on the satisfaction of sports tourism in Macao.Macao should upgrade high-end sports tourism and develop cost-effective sports tourism projects that are popular with the public.Experience also reflects some problems:(1)The high popularity of sports tourism does not mean high experience,and may be expensive in price;(2)Many sports tourism projects have not been well publicized and their popularity is not high;(3)Sports tourism is highly concentrated in Macao Peninsula,and tourists need to be diverted;(4)High-income people spend more on sports tourism;(5)Sports festivals,food festivals and music festivals have the most participants.Finally,according to the current situation and the survey results,there are difficulties in promoting the diversified economic development of Macao sports tourism,such as the limitation of urban space,the intensification of similar competition,the single impact of the economy and the shortage of some resources.Based on the characteristics and environment of Macao Special Administrative Region,this paper puts forward the path of promoting the diversified development of economy by taking sports tourism as the integration factor,promoting the casting of culture,enhancing the efficiency of trade,enabling science and technology,integrating physical tourism and urban renewal.
