Children and adolescents are important pillars of our country’s future development,but in recent years the enthusiasm of adolescents to actively engage in sports has gradually decreased,and according to the data given by the National Physical Fitness Survey,the physical quality of adolescents is also decreasing year by year.If we want to change this problem fundamentally,we need to make changes in physical education methods.In 2016,the State General Administration of Sports promulgated the "13th Five-Year Plan for Youth Sports" and the "Health China 2030" plan,which clearly states that "the implementation of the youth physical activity promotion plan This is a clear indication of the importance China attaches to the development of youth sports and health.When children and adolescents participate in basketball,it can promote the development of bones and muscles,as well as increase appetite,improve immunity,teamwork ability and hard work spirit.However,the traditional single training model is boring,especially for students at the elementary school level,and it is easy for students to lose their interest in sports and confidence in sticking to the sport during training,which further affects the progress of students’ basketball skill learning.The most interesting thing for young children is to do games,and if the games can be cleverly combined with basketball training,it may make the students more interested in basketball training.Therefore,it is envisioned that an experiment is conducted to add the game teaching method to the regular elementary school basketball training,and the above idea is confirmed by the changes of students’ interest in basketball training,basic skills and physical quality before and after the training.In this paper,10 participants of the fourth to fifth grade varsity teams were selected from Pudong Vanke Bilingual Primary School and Minhang Vanke Bilingual Primary School in Shanghai through the methods of literature,expert interview,questionnaire,mathematical statistics,and experiment.The 10 students from Pudong Vanke Bilingual School were the control group and the 10 students from Minhang Vanke Bilingual School were the experimental group.The students from the Pudong school conducted regular basketball instruction without basketball games,while the students from the Minhang school added basketball games to their regular basketball training and conducted a weekly training schedule for 8 weeks.A questionnaire survey comparing students’ interest in basketball learning before and after training,as well as testing students’ basic basketball skills and physical fitness before and after,led to the following conclusions:(1)After 8 weeks of comparative basketball training instruction,the players who joined the game training method for basketball training showed significant growth in all physical qualities and basketball fundamentals.(2)The addition of the game method to the regular basketball training greatly increased 9-11 years old students’ interest in the basketball program,and the questionnaire revealed that the participants in the experimental group were more eager to learn basketball knowledge and skills,and the application of the game training method had a good effect on improving basketball learning efficiency.(3)The players who performed the game training method had better speed,strength,endurance and agility than the players who performed the regular training,and the game teaching mode improved the students’ tolerance to the load and further increased their practice volume.Based on the above research results,this paper makes the following suggestions:it is necessary to add the game training method to the 9-11 years old students’ daily basketball training at the elementary school level,which can improve students’ interest and enthusiasm in basketball training,and can also better improve students’ physical quality and basketball skills,so that students can grow up more healthy and happy. |
