Objective: To compare and analyse the effects of SAQ training and traditional training methods on the players’ agility quality through 12 weeks of different methods of agility quality training for Yucai secondary school basketball specialised athletes,to analyse the various factors that produced the differences and to make scientific and effective discussions and recommendations on the training results.Methods: Using literature,expert interviews,experimental methods,,an experimental study was conducted on 30 basketball students in the secondary section of Tianjin Binhai New Area Tanggu Yucai School for 12 weeks,training three times a week(Monday,Wednesday and Friday),divided into experimental and control groups according to the homogeneity test,the experimental group adopted SAQ training method,while the control group continued to use traditional training methods.All subjects were tested before and after the experiment on five indexes of offense without the ball(T-test,triangle backward run,cross change run,AFL agility test,Nebraska agility test)and three indexes of offense with the ball(Illinois test,Z-test,ball-breaking marching shot test),and the pre-and post-experimental scores of the eight indexes of the players in the experimental and control groups were subjected to independent samples T-tests,paired-sample t-tests for each indicator in the pre-and post-experimental groups and paired-sample t-tests for each indicator in the pre-and post-experimental groups of the control group were conducted.Results:(1)After 12 weeks of SAQ training,the experimental group members all showed significant improvements in intra-group comparisons: T-test performance improved from 11.39 s to 10.21s(P=0.000<0.05);triangle backwards running event performance improved from 3.24 s to 2.84s(P=0.001<0.05);cross change running event improved from 10.63 s to 9.71s(P=0.000<0.05);the AFL agility test improved from the initial 11.02 s to 9.16s(P=0.000<0.05);the Nebraska agility test also improved from the initial 18.64 s to 18.01s(P=0.000<0.05).The Illinois test improved to 18.65 s from 19.44 s previously(P=0.000<0.05);the Z test item improved to 5.21 s from 6.50s(P=0.001<0.05);and the break with the ball for interval shooting test item improved to 10.76 s from 11.39 s at the start(P=0.001<0.05).(2)In the control group,after 12 weeks of conventional training,the within-group comparisons showed significant improvements in the Triangle Backward Run,Cross Change Run,AFL Agility Test,Illinois Test,Z-Test,and Breakaway with the Ball for the Interval Shot Test,but not in the T-Test and Nebraska Agility Test.The triangle backwards running event improved from 3.31 s to 3.19s(P=0.029<0.05);the cross change running event improved from 10.75 s to 10.57s(P=0.002<0.05);the AFL agility test improved from 10.88 s to 10.79s(P=0.026<0.05);the Illinois test improved from the previous 19.74 s to 19.49s(P=0.023 <0.05);the Z-test event improved from 6.52 s to 5.73s(P=0.001 <0.05);and the break with the ball for interval shooting test event improved from 11.63 s at the start to 11.25s(P=0.034 <0.05).However,the T-test score of 11.39 s improved to 10.21s(P=0.054>0.05)and the Nebraska agility test also improved from 18.64 s at the start to18.01s(P=0.092>0.05).(3)After 12 weeks of experimentation,the T-test(P=0.024<0.05),triangle backwards run(P=0.031<0.05),cross change run(P=0.039<0.05),AFL agility test(P=0.026<0.05),Nebraska agility test(P=0.000<0.05)were significantly different between the groups comparing the experimental players with the control group.0.05)were significantly different;the Z test(P=0.002<0.05),and the Breakaway Marching Shot with the Ball test(P=0.023<0.05)were significantly different,but the Illinois test(P=0.062>0.05)was not significantly different in this measure.Conclusion:(1)The SAQ training method has a significant correlation with the sensitive quality test indicators,that is to say,the SAQ training method is conducive to the cultivation and improvement of the offensive movement ability of young basketball players.Traditional training methods can also promote the improvement of athletes’ sensitive quality to a certain extent,mainly in the development of footstep movement and dribbling ability.(3)The SAQ training method is applied to the offensive and mobile development in the youth basketball training,and the better training effect can be achieved through the targeted training. |
