Research On The Temporal And Spatial Characteristics Of Social Mobility Of International Professional Basketball Players

After entering the new century,with the rapid development of social economy,the development of professional sports has also shown a vigorous trend,and the internationalization of professional sports is becoming higher and higher,and the important manifestation of which is the social mobility or migration of international professional basketball players.As a highly developed sports event with globalization and internationalization,the international flow and migration of professional basketball players continue to increase.The differences in geographical distribution lead to the frequent flow of international professional basketball players.Therefore,we should fully understand and analyze the laws and space-time characteristics of international professional basketball players’ social mobility,and deepen the rational thinking of professional basketball players’ social mobility.Through collecting and sorting out the relevant data of the international professional basketball players’ flow from 2012 to 2021,this study adopted the research methods of literature,GIS spatial analysis,mathematical statistics,logical analysis,etc.to analyze the scale of the international professional basketball players’ flow,the spatial distribution characteristics of the main exporting and importing countries The trend of the balance of intercontinental migration and the characteristics of the geographical spatial structure of the flow of professional basketball players are studied and analyzed.The main research conclusions are as follows: The overall scale of the flow of international professional basketball players shows a characteristic of high in the middle and low on both sides;From the perspective of the main exporting and importing countries of professional basketball players,there are significant differences in the spatial distribution of the main exporting and importing countries of international professional basketball players,with an overall regional imbalance characteristic;The migration balance of international professional basketball players has obvious regional differentiation characteristics,with a significant accelerated differentiation trend in the positive migration balance of American professional basketball players and the negative migration balance of European professional basketball players.The migration balance index of professional basketball players in Asia,Africa,and Oceania has always maintained a relatively stable characteristic;The flow path of international professional basketball players is constantly increasing,and the overall flow network is characterized by a spatial structure of "one point,three directions";The flow path of professional basketball players in the European region has shown a continuous increase,with the largest number of flow paths between neighboring countries,longer flow paths,and wider regional scope.The overall spatial structure is characterized by "dominated by Western European countries and spreading around";The flow network of professional basketball players between continents is basically characterized by a geographical spatial structure of "one source and four directions".The European continent has always served as an important hub for the social mobility of professional basketball players.
