“Patriotism is the national heart and soul of the Chinese nation,the most important spiritual wealth of the Chinese nation,and a powerful spiritual driving force for the Chinese people and the Chinese nation to safeguard national independence and national dignity”.In the new era,the reform of various undertakings in China has entered a deep water period,various contradictions are prominent,the international situation is complex and changeable,and global terrorist activities occur frequently,resulting in a more serious situation of patriotic education in colleges and universities.To cultivate socialist builders and successors,we must first enhance the patriotic feelings of college students.In this context,the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued the implementation outline of Patriotic Education in the New era in November 2019,making comprehensive arrangements for patriotic education in the new era.Guangxi is not only an ethnic region,but also the center of the connection between the motherland and Southeast Asian countries.combined with reality,it is duty-bound to conscientiously implement the "implementation outline of Patriotic Education in the New era" and deepen the patriotic education of college students.Thus it can be seen that it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the issues related to patriotism education in colleges and universities in Guangxi in the new era.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this paper consists of four chapters: the first chapter mainly combs and interprets the theoretical basis of patriotism education in colleges and universities in Guangxi in the new era.The patriotic thoughts of Marx,Engels and Lenin provide them with the most important theoretical reference,while the patriotic thoughts or important expositions of the Chinese Communists provide direct theoretical support for them.The second chapter mainly starts from three dimensions: the dimension of the times(the situation at home and abroad),the dimension of policy(the policy at the national level and the work plan issued by Guangxi),and the dimension of Guangxi(geographical location,economic and social development,and the development of colleges and universities in Guangxi).It answers the situation faced by patriotism education in colleges and universities in Guangxi in the new era.Combined with questionnaires and interview data,the third chapter first analyzes the awareness of college students in Guangxi on the implementation outline of patriotism education in the new era,and their understanding of the importance,measures and atmosphere of patriotism education.the evaluation of the effect of patriotism education;then explore the factors that affect the patriotism education in colleges and universities in Guangxi in the new era from the four aspects of college students themselves,administrators,teachers and educational environment.The fourth chapter points out that if colleges and universities in Guangxi deepen patriotism education and promote the high-quality development of patriotism education,they must follow the "outline for the implementation of patriotism education in the new era",check and fill the gaps,and conscientiously do a good job in prescribed actions and optional actions.Especially in deepening the content of patriotism education,enriching the carrier of patriotism education,making good use of local patriotism education resources,creating a good patriotism education environment,establishing and perfecting the evaluation mechanism,and so on. |
