With the rapid development of society, the original unit-based community has evolved into a "post-unit-based community" and the community governance environment has changed. In order to ensure the function of post-unit communities,it is important to tap and cultivate community building talents, promote the formation of community self-organization and increase the stock of community social capital,in addition to the leading role of the government.Social work,as one of the subjects of multi-governance,plays an important role in the innovation of social governance,so it has become an important topic of research to use professional methods to intervene in the cultivation of community self-organization.At present, there are many studies on the capacity building and cultivation process of community self-organization,but there are few studies on how to form trust-based social capital within self-organization.In view of this, the practical experience of cultivating trust-based social capital in post-unit community self-organizations is important for increasing social capital and social work practice within organizations. This study takes the process of nurturing XY self-organisation in community D as an example, and adopts a qualitative research method, using participant observation and semi-structured interviews with community committee staff, social workers and community self-organisation members. The study explores the process of trust formation in the process of nurturing community self-organisations by social workers, following the process of "identifying competent people-expanding networks-building identity-selecting key groups-establishing group rules and providing incentives-strengthening organisational trust".The process of trust-based social capital formation is explored in the process of community self-organisation by social workers, and finally the path of organisational mobilisation is summarised. After the professional intervention of social work, the cultivation of trust-based social capital of XY self-organization has achieved certain results, which are mainly manifested in two levels: member cultivation and organization building. At the level of member empowerment, members’ awareness of community participation is enhanced,identity-based trust is formed, and members’ participation capacity is fully built;at the level of organization building, trust mechanisms are established, group rules are formed, and social networks are expanded.Meanwhile,by sorting out the research cases, this study also summarizes the experience of cultivating trust-based social capital in post-unit system community self-organization,i.e.,tapping cultivation resources, updating mobilization methods, improving resident participation and constructing trust relationships. Finally,we conclude that the "invisible presence" of unit social capital in post-unit communities is effective in cultivating a self-organized community and the stock of trust-based social capital is a key factor affecting the sustainable mobilization of self-organization.However,there are shortcomings in this incubation, such as the validity of the interview data and the lack of comparative studies with other types of neighborhoods.
