Research On Rural Community Residents’ Participation From The Perspective Of Guan Xi

Building a social governance pattern of co-construction,co-governance and sharing is an important embodiment and practice of the essence of socialism and respect for the people’s dominant position in the new era.To achieve joint construction,co-governance and co-enjoyment,it is necessary to actively participate in every resident.But the study found that there is a widespread lack of residents’ participation in grass-roots communities.Although some scholars have put forward some measures to solve the problem,most of them are based on western related theories and ignore the differences in development degree and cultural background between urban areas and rural areas.With the development of township social work stations in the whole country,it is of great significance to study residents’ participation under the unique cultural background of rural areas to build a rural governance system combining autonomy,rule of law and rule of virtue.Based on the theoretical research of relationship culture,human face and differential sequence pattern in acquaintance society,this paper takes the residents’ participation in the cultivation process of a local community social organization in CX Town Social Work Station,NX District,Yibin City as the case study object,and uses semi-structured interview,participatory observation and other data collection methods to analyze and explore the impact of local culture such as relationship distance,human face and other local cultures in acquaintance society on the participation of rural residents.It is found that there is a different relationship distance between residents and local residents and foreign social workers,and the role of geographical trust in it makes residents question the identity and work of foreign social workers.Therefore,the invitation and mobilization of local residents as key figures can endorse the trust of social workers,thus narrowing the relationship distance between social workers and local residents and stimulating residents’ participation behavior.Secondly,in order to avoid the depression of residents’ participation enthusiasm,social workers should establish direct interpersonal relationship and trust relationship with residents to ensure the continuity of residents’ participation after stimulating residents’ initial participation behavior through acquaintance relationship.Thirdly,human face in the process of residents’ participation can play a role in regulating the relationship between residents and promote reciprocal cooperation among residents,which can improve the relationship between residents to a certain extent and enhance the work effect so as to achieve the deep goal of driving community governance with residents’ participation.Finally,human face not only has the instrumental factor of resource exchange,but also its emotional factor is more helpful to form the indelible emotional essence in the community.These interpersonal communication principles and relationship operation modes not only maintain the unity,harmony and stability of the organization,but also promote the enthusiasm,initiative and continuity of residents’ participation.Therefore,to carry out social work practice activities in acquaintance society,we should follow its unique relationship culture,close the relationship distance with residents,establish trust relationship,make good use of the positive function of human feelings and face and its emotional factors to stimulate residents’ participation enthusiasm.
