A Study On The Application Of Rituals In The Patriotic Education Of College Students In The New Era

As a social practice that has existed in human society for a long time,rituals have evolved to the present and have continuously taken their essence and removed their waste,and have had a significant impact on human production and life.The ritual is value-oriented,symbolic,situational,diverse,normative and repetitive,making it a unique carrier of patriotic education for college students.In the new era,college students’ thinking has shown new characteristics,and combining rituals with college students’ patriotic education,and creatively using rituals to carry out college students’ patriotic education is an inevitable requirement for improving the effectiveness of college students’ ideological and political education and patriotism education in the new era.The first part of the introduction,including the purpose of the topic selection,theoretical and practical significance;Current status of domestic research and foreign research;Research methods include literature research,multidisciplinary research,and survey research;and the innovation of this article.The second part is an overview of rituals and patriotic education for college students in the new era,including the connotation,types and characteristics of rituals under the interpretation of patriotic education;Rituals can materialize patriotic education content,create patriotic education atmosphere,deepen patriotic feelings,and strengthen patriotic behavior,and the unique characteristics and functions of rituals themselves make them an important carrier for patriotic education of college students in the new era.The ceremony draws on the theoretical basis and ideas in the application of patriotic education for college students in the new era.The third part focuses on the current situation of the use of ritual in the patriotic education of college students in the new era,and the problems and reasons for the application of ritual in the patriotic education of college students in the new era.The problem is mainly manifested in four aspects,namely,the ritual is not prominent in the application of patriotic education for college students in the new era,the procedure is not standardized,the type is not fully excavated and utilized,and the existence is formalized.The reasons for this are that the symbolic meaning of ritual in the application of patriotic education is hidden,some organizers and participants do not pay enough attention to the application of ritual in patriotic education of college students,the lack of effective guarantee mechanism of ritual in the application of patriotic education,and the connotation of ritual in the application of patriotic education is not rich enough.The fourth part is the focus of this article,which mainly explores the countermeasures of ritual in the application of patriotic education for college students in the new era.Scientifically use ritual symbols applied to patriotism education,use rituals to carry out relevant theme activities of "Four History" education,and use rituals to inherit the patriotic spirit in China’s excellent traditional culture to improve the content of patriotism education for college students;Attach importance to the use of rituals in patriotic education,strengthen the preparation for patriotic education ceremonial activities,and improve the evaluation and feedback mechanism in the later stage of patriotic education ceremonial activities to standardize the procedures of ritual application in patriotic education for college students in the new era;Construct a guarantee mechanism for patriotic education ceremonies to lay the foundation for enriching various types of patriotic education ceremonies,use commemorative ceremonies to strengthen the patriotism of college students in the new era,use pass-through ceremonies to enhance college students’ aspiration to strengthen the country in the new era,and use daily ceremonies to infiltrate patriotic education for college students in the new era;Enrich the connotation of the ceremony in the application of patriotic education for college students in the new era,and give full play to the important role of the Internet in patriotic education ceremonial activities.
