| With the in-depth promotion of the basic education reconstruction and the rapid development of quality education,the problem of students in need has been increasingly taken seriously by teachers.The problem of struggling students has received more and more teachers’ attention.Especially in the current situation of the deepening implementation of the new curriculum concept,the phenomenon of struggling students in primary language education has become more and more prominent.Assignments are a difficult part of language teaching,and the accumulation of language knowledge and language learning habits at the elementary school level will bring them a very important role in their future learning.Therefore,as an elementary school language teacher,we should constantly improve our own literacy and find and solve the phenomenon of struggling students in our daily educational work.This thesis mainly adopts a case study approach,supplemented by an interview method,to investigate and study four struggling students in upper elementary school S in Baotou for several months,and combine with interviews with teachers and parents to analyze the causes of struggling students in upper elementary school.According to the characteristics of the upper elementary school students who were struggling in composition,we investigated the causes of the struggling students’family situation,personality traits,and composition practice in the upper elementary school.The study found that the difficulties of the students’ composition include:messy handwriting,insufficient number of words,inability to compose,and confusing logic,etc.The reasons for this can be categorized as internal or external.External reasons include teachers,family and even social factors;internal reasons include students’ poor attitudes,poor learning foundation,improper learning methods and study habits,etc.Finally,according to the actual teaching situation,this paper proposes four aspects that can enrich and improve the causes and interventions for the transformation of students who are struggling in the middle and upper grades of elementary school language from teachers,parents,students and schools.In order to help the students who are struggling in their composition to get out of the dilemma and improve their composition successfully,every student who is struggling in their composition can not fall behind. |
