Chinese revolutionary culture originated in the May 4th Movement and grew up in the period of new democracy.It is the cultural crystallization of the Chinese people during the arduous revolutionary struggle under the leadership of the Party,and the spiritual wealth of several generations of Chinese Communists who have pooled their lives and blood together.The report to the Party’s 20 th National Congress also explicitly stated that we should carry forward revolutionary culture.Revolutionary culture is still full of charm of new era,and it is a precious ideological and political education resource of colleges and universities,which contains great value of new era.At present,the college students of “the generation after 00s” have become a part of the construction of the motherland,shoulder the heavy responsibility of new era.Inheriting revolutionary culture can help college students strengthen their cultural confidence,better cultivate and practice socialist core values,and provide necessary spiritual nutrition for them to strengthen their belief foundation and improve their moral quality.Therefore,inheriting revolutionary culture is not only a historical task,but also the requirement of new era.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction part,which mainly discusses the research background,significance,research status,research methods,innovation and deficiencies of this paper.The second part explains the concept and content of culture,revolutionary culture,cultural identity and cultural inheritance,at the same time explains the basic characteristics of revolutionary culture,and analyzes the relevant theoretical basis of Chinese revolutionary culture identity and inheritance.The third part expounds the important value of Chinese revolutionary culture from the perspectives of the value of new era and the value of college students themselves.The fourth part introduces the basic characteristics of the college students of “the generation after 00s”.Their common features include that they are all network residents and their needs are diverse and changeable.Strong individual consciousness and practical life ideal;Group cultural cognition pluralism and minority integration and other characteristics.Based on historical data,this paper analyzes the status quo of identification and inheritance of Chinese revolutionary culture for the college students of “the generation after 00s”.The analysis shows that the overall situation is optimistic,but there are still some problems,including some college students’ incomplete rational cognition of revolutionary culture,unstable emotional identity,low participation in inheritance,inheritance effect needs to be improved and so on.The reason is closely related to the current development of cultural diversification,complex social environment,unitary mode of university education,difficult to control network communication platform and other factors.The fifth part is the vital part,aiming at the problems and causes of identification and inheritance of Chinese revolutionary culture for the college students of “the generation after 00s”,it explores the specific strategies to improve college students’ identification and inheritance of Chinese revolutionary culture from the perspectives of social environment,school education,college students themselves and network communication.
