In the 14 th Five Year Plan released by the State Council,a comprehensive plan was made for the elderly care industry and services,proposing the implementation of a policy of gradually delaying the statutory retirement age.With the increasingly serious trend of aging in China and the extension of population life expectancy,China will face greater pressure on the balance of income and expenditure of pension insurance funds,which has sparked widespread attention in the academic community to extending the retirement age.The policy of extending retirement age is a systematic project related to people’s livelihood,and how to increase public recognition and support for the policy of delaying retirement has become an important concern in academic research.This article conducts a comprehensive and in-depth study and analysis of the influencing factors of employees’ willingness to delay retirement in urban enterprises,which is of great significance for the implementation of delayed retirement policies nationwide.This article is based on the 2018 China Health and Elderly Care Tracking Survey Database,and conducts research based on Maslow’s demand theory,life cycle theory,and rational economic person theory.By analyzing existing research literature at home and abroad,the research hypothesis of this article is proposed.This article takes urban enterprise employees as the research object,and conducts descriptive statistical analysis on their willingness to delay retirement from three levels: personal characteristics,work environment,and security system factors.Probit regression model is used to analyze the influencing factors of their willingness to delay retirement.Through empirical research,it has been found that gender,age,job position,enterprise type,basic pension insurance,and commercial pension insurance have a significant impact on the willingness to delay retirement of urban enterprise employees.Among them,age and commercial pension insurance have a positive correlation with the willingness to delay retirement of urban enterprise employees,while job position and basic pension insurance have a negative correlation with the willingness to delay retirement.Among urban enterprise employees,female employees The willingness of private enterprise employees to delay retirement is relatively stronger.On the basis of empirical analysis,this article proposes relevant countermeasures and suggestions for formulating differentiated deferred retirement policies,developing suitable commercial pension insurance,improving relevant supporting security systems,developing flexible performance management systems,and enhancing personal comprehensive literacy.
